The Chi Chi Rodriguez Golf Club, centrally located on McMullen Booth Road a comparably short course, offering just 5,454 yards from the blue tees and a slope rating of 118. Most of the fairways are wide, making errant shots still playable. In essence, it is the ideal place to work on your golf game, to correct that nasty slice or learn to hit that oversized driver without fear of losing 100 balls. As a result, it is a favorite among novice golfers who want to be challenged but also have an enjoyable round.

Extremely Slow Pace
Don’t book Before 12 unless you want to be waiting At each tee box for two sets of groups to play every hole… It’s an old timer course because it’s in Clearwater. Beautiful place extremely extremely slow pace if yourself 5 hiurs for 18 if you book around 9:30 am
Aeration bumps and sand, otherwise good
Apparently, they had aerated a few weeks ago, but the greens were bumpy and some were sanded. Otherwise, some of the best tee boxes I've encountered, and fairways and rough were in very good shape. Hadn't played here in years, and they've really done well to improve it. Just go next time when not aerated.
Awesome Course
Really cool course layout with a lot of mounds and good differentiation. I went while greens were airating so will be curious to see how well they are at full curation.
Good course
Greens were punched last week so still candy and bumpy, besides that the course was very wet but playable.
Awesome Fun Course
Gentleman {don’t remember name} at Pro Shop was very friendly and polite!
Have played there several times, always fun and well maintained. Even enjoyed having cold water at the tee box.
Pleasantly Surprised
First time playing at Chi Chi's, and had a wonderful day. Course was challenging but in a good way. Fairways & greens in very good condition compared to other courses I have played recently. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Will I return and would I suggest u go, Yes I would!!

Forgot to mention nice new carts in last review. No complaints with course EXCEPT greens recently punched & sanded. Putting was pretty much a guess (more so than usual). Rake the bunkers after you're done! Foursome in front was annoying, behind by 2nd hole, stayed behind until back 9. Told us they was a 5-some ahead which was true, but I only saw them wait on 1 par 3. Parked carts in front of greens, had to wait for them to move. Legs apparently didn't work, as they rarely (NEVER) walked from the cart to their ball, had to be driven. Typical of golfers today.

Excelent gepflegter Platz, sehr abwechslungsreich, tolle Grüns.
Driving Range liegt leider auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite einer stark befahrenen Straße.
Chi Chi’s
No surprises although the lack of rain is showing up a bit on fairways. Greens were fast and hard to read…pace was ‘ok’…group in front waited until the group in front of them were on the green and then hit their drives in the woods or 150-175 yards …🙄
It was HOT…88-90 degrees and we started on time at 10am…early tee times for the remainder of the summer!!
