The Chi Chi Rodriguez Golf Club, centrally located on McMullen Booth Road a comparably short course, offering just 5,313 yards from the blue tees and a slope rating of 115. Most of the fairways are wide, making errant shots still playable. Slow play

We golf only on week days to avoid the slow pace

For some reason we found ourselves waiting behind 4 twosomes 🤷‍♀️

We hooked up with another couple so the play would be reasonable

Why the starter let all of these twosomes by themselves ??

This made it unplaisant and long

One of the better courses in Tampa Bay Area

Chi chi’s course is challenging yet beginner friendly. A course for everyone. The fairways are okay, tee boxes are good and the greens are well kept. The value and condition of course for the price is great. Would recommend to a friend.

Monday early AM

Played course many times on weekends, pace of play is usually brutal (4 - 5hr round, which I will say seems pretty common on any course around here). Had the chance to play (2 some) on a Mon AM and finished in 2:40! Greens were good, fairways were lacking grass, lots of tight lies. Enjoyed the round, will definitely play again!

Tricky and tight

First time playing. Great price. Course is tricky and requires accuracy off the tee with proper club selection. Greens are fast and in great shape. Excellent value for the price. Good to see the support for kids.

Top Notch

Two things: the driving range is accros a large, multilane highway, they should let you know that early in the course description so you can go there first if you want; and, there is no clubhouse perse. Just a big proshop with refreshments, adequate.

Having said that, this was a fantastic experience in every other way.

The staff were friendly and helpful, brand new golf carts (maybe the best fleet carts I've ever been in), and the course was incredible. Lots of varied layouts and hazards, great natural environment. Thoroughly enjoyable. If I'm back in this area again I will certainly be back.
