The Chi Chi Rodriguez Golf Club, centrally located on McMullen Booth Road a comparably short course, offering just 5,454 yards from the blue tees and a slope rating of 118. Most of the fairways are wide, making errant shots still playable. In essence, it is the ideal place to work on your golf game, to correct that nasty slice or learn to hit that oversized driver without fear of losing 100 balls. As a result, it is a favorite among novice golfers who want to be challenged but also have an enjoyable round.

Cart rule
Had a tee time for 10:30am
arrived in pro shop at 9:38am.
Was told I couldn’t check in until 10:00am
Walked back to the car to tell my playing partners and we carried our bags to the practice green area.
Noticed 20 carts lined up ready to go.
Practices for 15 minutes and went back into the pro shop to “check in”.
Ask the rude pro shop employee why we only get 30 minutes and he replied”that’s the rule”
I told him that last time it was 60 minutes. He said that was not the policy.
Regardless….
It’s a Wednesday
There’s plenty of carts outside
Yet we have to lug the bags from the car )so we could warm up)
Ridiculous
I can see if it were a weekend and carts were limited, but come on guys!
Mario the Starter was excellent and very friendly.
Great price and layout
We we're paired up with 2 other players which worked out great. We still managed to play with a decent pace of play. Great layout of this course for moderate players and we have got a god deal on our price.
Love this course
We play here often, it is our favorite course in the area. The greens were perfect! Always a good time! Love Chi chis and the foundation. !

Rainy start, Steamy end
Because it rained in the morning the course was empty. But by the second hole the sunny came out big time. It got real hot but even more so very muggy. No fault of the course, so there was no one playing. My girlfriend and I don’t mind the weather so it was a great round
Great staff, poor timing course condition wise
Greens were just punched, a few tee boxes had ongoing maintenance, rough felt extra thick or perhaps we were just that bad. Overall great time
Punch greens
When I booked this course nothing was said about the punch sand green that was just done and was not puttable, very disappointed.
Mixed experience all around
Course is in good shape especially for this time of year. This was our 2nd time playing it and pace of play was pretty bad both times. I understand it’s busy but people seem to just check in whenever and then roll up to the tee box and get sent out leaving it backed up beginning to end. Customer service in the pro shop the 2nd time was horrible. The guy at the desk was very strangely confrontational with us from the moment we walked up. It left us us all very confused
