The Chi Chi Rodriguez Golf Club, centrally located on McMullen Booth Road a comparably short course, offering just 5,454 yards from the blue tees and a slope rating of 118. Most of the fairways are wide, making errant shots still playable. In essence, it is the ideal place to work on your golf game, to correct that nasty slice or learn to hit that oversized driver without fear of losing 100 balls. As a result, it is a favorite among novice golfers who want to be challenged but also have an enjoyable round.

Great course always fun to play!
I like the mission of the school and of course but the course is always a really good
6 players playing together what’s this the marshal must have been blind.
Course is in great shape, greens are top dressed now
With the lack of rain, I must say that surprisingly, ChI-Chi's was lush and green. The greens were top dressed, but rolled and brushed and the ball rolled well, but we're challenging to read. I thought that made it more fun.
The course is very playable.
Best Maintained Public Course in the Area
Chi chi is the best maintained public course in the area. From teeboxes to greens, the grass is green and lush, mowed and ready. Layout is one of my faves, you wouldn’t expect the elevation changes in this part of the county. Grounds are in better shape than higher fee courses (Lansbrooke, Wentworth) and on par with Clearwater Country Club
$50 greens fee is the best value in Pinellas and nearby Hillsborough and Pasco.
They should spread out tee time more than 5 min though, that would help with pace of play which still is pretty good.

Staff friendly. Greens in below average state but we haven’t had a lot of rain recently.

I like the layout, good course for a "short knocker" like me, lol.
No alcohol, always slow play, but close to home and well priced. 👌
pace of play was awful on the back nine
played front nine at a very comfortable pace but hit a wall on 10. don't know why but we left after 15 holes because there were 5 groups....
thats right, 5 groups on the 16th hole. unacceptable.

pace of play was good people were friendly wish course had a beverage cart on the course and some sort yardage markers
Great round. The greens rolled quick but had a few small bumps I. Them from unrepaired ball marks. The fairways were in great shape given not much rain recently. The only issue we encountered was that none of the water filling stations had water in them which for a 1:30 tee time in Florida was a little brutal at the end of the day.
Short course but interesting layout and decent conditions.
