Beautiful layout. Course was really fun. Driving range, chipping green and putting green very nice as well. Would recommend to play if in the area.

I always enjoy playing this course. Even in off-season conditions it’s well-maintained and very gettable.

after days of rain - took on the windy day for a pleasant round. Course is getting back to snuff with all the rain - love the Shell Point.

When amenities are going to be unavailable and greens have been aerated, this information should be made known at the time of booking. Their restaraunt for lunch was closed, I understand not serving ice cold beer due to their religious beliefs, but not knowing their driving range was closed, and greens been aerated, left me terribly frustrated at the experience.

Hazards crossing fairways require decisions on risk reward chances on several par fours; layup or try to carry them. Kinda fun. The par threes are fairly long for the most part and a couple of the par fives are 500+. Greens and fairways were very nice and the bunkers have sand that is very consistent and easy to play out of. Great value with a quirky layout.

Have played here a lot nice course and very well maintained. For the money probably one of the best value in Southwest Florida. Course is challenging without being punishing. Latest round was on a particularly business day. Almost 4.5

hours! Try the course you won't be disappointed.

Course is impeccable maintained. Greens seem to have a different kind of grass and roll somewhat slow, but the read is true and the kball rolls true to the break.

I play white white or blue tees and judged the course as moderately difficult. For those wanting more challenge there are black and gold tees that present a more of a challenge for those up to it.

Weather could not have been better which makes play on a nice golf course even more so enjoyable. The greens had been punched a couple of weeks ago and had healed but the drought in SWFL may have kept maintenance from cutting them as closely as they will when we begin our rainy season. Despite that, the greens were in great shape just slower than optimum.

The grass on the greens is very thick, but they roll much slower than the 9.5 that they say that they were running. The course layout is challenging and quite enjoyable.

Overall our experience was a positive one. Course conditions were good, greens were very plush but only rolling 9.5. A couple of the fairways on the back 9 had a number of bare spots. Holes were challenging and first time players should be sure to take a yardage book from the proshop since a number of holes on the back nine required layups off the tees or you could find yourself in a hazard. The value, as with most courses in this area in season, was fair. Pace of play was good, if only because we were told we needed to make the turn in 2 hours or we would only be able to play the front 9 again. I would play the course again now that I have a better understanding of the layout.

Great course. Pick the appropriate tees based on your experience. Tee shots can be demanding. My son and I really enjoyed our round of golf.
