Best greens in SW Florida and whole course in great condition. Friendly staff. Cross over tee times makes it play fast. Played 36 holes in one day. in the afternoon we had the course for ourselves. I will return. For the beer after the round go to lighthouse 1/2 mile away.

Played the course twice this week as a single. Paired with a member once and three members the second time. As a pair played in just over three hours and as a foursome ( course was busier as there was a members event on the course ) was under 4. Course was in great shape especially the greens,

Some earlier comments about 'gimmicky holes", I don't understand. Two holes have a creek that cross it, if you live on the edge, go for it, if you if you don't, lay up. I went for it and was successful 75%.

Staff was very friendly and helpful and genuinely seemed to enjoy helping guests. The members I played with were also friendly and helpful.

For the money and the challenge, i'll be back next year for my annual visit to the area

nice track played it from the back. should have looked at the card better #2 243 yard par 3....wow. greens were fast and true and the overall condition was great. the lack of swing lube (beer) was a definite issue by 11. if you like to have a drink or two during your round the course is dry.

This was the 1st time that I played since they finished the 35000 square foot Clubhouse, practice facilities, and moved the holes around. Nice to start on a Par 5.

The greens are in excellent shape; just an all-around pleasure.

Although this course has a gimmicky hole or two. It was in great shape and offered a great day of golf.

Have been playing there off and on since going to Florida. Friendly and great course, that's why we keep going back each year

As a Single Player, the pace of the course is very slow...played here 6 years ago.. .was fine. .in the meantime, a lot of new houses we're Build.. ..and the course is Now packed...but still in great condition.

Nice layout with lots of water hazards and some gators. Plot your play one step at the time and you'll be fine. Not a course to always hit driver off the tee box!

Shell point is always a good solid course to play. We always play the course when visiting captiva island. Course was in very good shape and the greens rolled well. The only real problem was the fairways were mowed really low which made it hard for iron shots. Otherwise course and staff were great

PACE OF PLAY WAY TOO SLOW AND DID NOT SEE A RANGER. OVER THREE HOURS TO PLAY 11 HOLES..

IF YOU PLAY EARLY, SUN SHINES IN YOUR EYES ON FIRST HOLE. YOU CAN NOT FOLLOW YOUR BALL. VARIOUS HOLES HAVE A STRONG SEWAGE SMELL.

Pristine conditions as always, even after hurricane. Recommend highly, great staff!

This course was absolutely beautiful and in tip top shape. The greens were some of the best that I have ever putted on.
