Shell Point Golf Club

Played a lot of golf in Ft. Myers and this is one of the best if not the best. The layout and especially conditions of the course were a 10. These were some of the best greens I've ever played. Can't wait to play again .

Really beautiful and well maintained golf course that is challenging but yet pleasant to play.

Course is in great condition. Only complaint is the exorbitant cost for a large bucket of range balls at $15 .

Nice course but a lot of water and lost balls for me. No refreshments kart and in fact no beer sold there, on the course nor at club house. Further , no food served after 11am so a bit restrictive. All that being said the course was in great shape with very nice greens and fairways well cared for. Price was very good so while they don’t allow outside coolers I’d bring a couple of barley-pops in your bag and enjoy the course, I’ll definitely go back.

The course is in the best shape I have ever seen it

Every part of this course is great. The fairways are excellently groomed, the greens are lightning fast and the there is a wide variety of nicely manicured tee boxes to choose from. Only issue is that the entire course is dry. No cart person, and no alcohol so no beer after your round. Had a hotdog at the turn with a three week old bun. The golf is great, but go somewhere else after. Would definitely play again.

Golf course is in very good condition. Fast but true and fair greens.

The only thing missing was a snack bar. I can’t understand why a snack bar would close at 11:00a. I had a 11:48a tee time and hoped to grab a bite before playing.

Our firstborn time at Shell Point, we chose it from Golfnow. We were matched up with two gentlemen who play there frequently so their course knowledge was handy. The course was in great shape, the greens were in great shape and not too crazy to read. The staff were all very friendly, we would play here again, and may play erect again this week on our winter warm up vacation.

Very nice condition, but really need to think about course management. Some holes are pretty tight off the tee and if you don’t like water, go somewhere else. Beautiful course. It is a “Dry” course so don’t expect to have a beer after.

Greens are true and well maintained. Course doesn’t look like it has had any volume of play recently and is in great shape. Overall very well maintained and cared for.

A little more $ than others in the area but well worth it.

Fairway and greens far above average

Tees, fairways, greens were lush and green,. Speed of greens was rather fast but they putted very true. Pace of play was fine - 4 hrs on a Saturday 1:38 tee-time. Staff was very helpful. Great practice facilities, classy grill. The course itself is more of a target-style course with some local knowledge needed on several holes. Great value, probably the best around,

Other than some peripheral construction of homes, this course is immaculate. I have never seen greens so well maintained and with such consistently fine grooming. It’s challenging yet forgiving. Highly recommend this for all levels of players. Great practice range and chipping/ putting areas. I hope they continue to keep this open to the public as the community matures.
