Honorable and Friendly Expirience.
I played here the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We arrived at 0700 with a tee time of 0737. It was just my dad and I. The starter allowed us to go off a little earlier to get in front of a threesome and two foursomes. This was amazing since we played 18 in about 2 hours and 45 minutes. The threesome was on 9 when we made it to 15.
Overall the course was a very easy and friendly layout. What you saw is what you got. It was in great shape and the greens, even with a lot of traffic, rolled at a consistent 9 and didn’t undulate a whole lot, even if it looked it. It was a fairly straight forward and fun course for all handicaps. It’s fairly short, so there are some great Eagle and birdie looks.
The real kicker though that made my experience was what happened after the round. I left my V5 range finder on the cart and did not realize it until I returned home in GA the following day. I thought for sure some lucky lad would find and keep it, but it was turned in to the staff. I called and they had it available for pickup and my dad had it 20 minutes later to me in the mail. Someone could have easily taken a $300 range finder, but chose to do the right thing.
Overall this was a very fun and friendly course. You can’t beat the price of what you get for $37. I will absolutely be back again when I come back to Cocoa Beach!!
Bad attitudes are the norm
The pros:
The greens and Fairways were in good shape considering the amount of rain we've experienced recently,
however, the majority of tee boxes were in terrible shape, in desperate need of repair, (those tee boxes were replaced a little over a year ago.)
The cons:
"Belligerent attitudes"
Very ugly negative unprofessional attitudes exude from the Pro Shop,
to the starter,
all the way down to the cart attendants.
the only pleasant personal interaction we experienced was with the beverage girl,
Our 3-some was behind a Group of SEVEN teenage golfers,
After calling and alerting the Pro Shop,
The Ranger did not make an appearance to investigate.
[customer service experience at this club is atrocious and should be addressed immediately by management]
Side note;
To anyone preparing to play CCBCC, prepare yourself to deal with belligerent attitudes before your arrival.
Good course
Course is in good shape. Very windy since it is next to Banana River. Saw three alligators so don't go looking for your ball near the water. Pace of play was a little slow since there were a lot of golfers walking. I would go back again.
Course conditions
Conditions fair, way overcrowded, pace of play was slow
Nice course, awesome views, terrific greens
Nice course, awesome views, terrific greens If only people would fix their ball marks they would be perfect
Great course
Very nice course. Layer out very well. Lots of water do keep it in the fairway but forgiving and fun to play. Excellent shape and a great value. Nice breeze off the water. Staff was very nice.
Great course and value
Greens putted smoothly. Quick and easy check in. Will play again.
