Best shape of any i have playe this year including the disney course, perfect from tee to green
Scenic Course
This is a municipal course! However, very scenic with the front nine of the River course having beautiful views of the Banana River. The greens were in very good shape! The course, due to it's proximity to the ocean can be VERY windy. This is a very short course, just over 6100 from the tips.
Very beautiful course, I really love the river course.
everything was outstanding, I am looking forward to sponsoring a golf trip with three friends at cocoa beach country club.
Great Greens and Fairways !!
Course is well maintained, with lots of water along fairways.
Fun to Play
Course is fun and maintained nicely. Played
the Rivers/Lakes nines.
Staff not at all friendly...more like "tolerating." Didn't seem to love their job very much.
BEST GREENS
They have the best green in Brevard and probably in central FL. They have been this good for at least 3 years. The course is wide open with water and sand your only hazards
Course is scenic.
River course is narrow and Lakes has water. Fun afternoon with good pace of play and nice breezes off the river.
OK for a one time play.
It was Spring golf with the greens recently punched and the fairways not yet grown in. We were sent out on the Lake Course, which was way too flat and easy. Our turn was to the River Course which was much, much nicer. Did not get to play the Manatee Course, which is supposed to be more difficult. Skip the Lake and you'll have a better experience. Great staff and pro shop.
greens great condition
course was very busy but it move at very good green very nice condition fairways average. little bit pricey.
Wish I Knew
I enjoy that this course has a lot of water on it, which adds a little to the difficulty. The three 9-hole courses give you options for a 18-hole day. The one downside to my experience is that after a nice front 9, my party was moved around a couple times due to the course's Men's League playing. It's disappointing that my group was forced to take extra time out of our day to wait for several groups to go through as we waited at the 10th hole, only to be moved to another course in the end. My advice is to ask ahead if any events are going on for the day so you can better plan your day.
course is in good shape.
greens are in good shape. We got out early, and that appears to be the key to playing a relaxing round here. an enjoyable 3 1/2 hour round.
Course is outstanding for a municipal course
CB CC is an excellent muni. Well maintained, greens not fast, but smooth. Not a difficult course, pretty wide open, especially on Dolphin and Lakes, not so much on River. Fun to play and if you keep it in play (not that difficult), you might have a personal best score here. Only criticism, and it's minor, is the sand is not very fluffy. Pretty well packed down and fairway bunkers are coquina sand. Not bad, just takes a little getting used to. Or stay out of them!
Extremely windy, nice views, need sand in traps, more water
The course is on the water and it was very windy and cold the day we played. The greens were in great shape but the fairways and tee boxes needed water and work. The sand in the traps was sparse and hard. Great views on the River course.
Cushy Greens...Nice Shape
Played here on Feb.16, 2013 and enjoyed the outing very much. Bit pricey, but, we played in the afternoon, so, okay. The course has marvelous greens...soft, cushy, green, no dead spots as it sometimes typical of Florida courses in winter. Hole placements were good on the day we played with well placed traps. The two nines we played (Dolphin and Lakes) had some undulation, but, overall and easy walk. Water comes into play on several holes and a couple with a long carry to the landing spot. The fairways and second cut were well maintained and in good shape. Worth the time to play a round here and friendly staff to assist you. The carts were in good shape, clean and quiet. Good spot.
Best greens in county
Cocoa Beach CC is the closest thing to a links course in Brevard County. Couple this with immaculate greens and it makes for an interesting round.
Very nice course. Well maintained
Love this course. Nice greensand a very friendly staff
Not good
To drive to the course you have to pass waste plant. Got in the club house staff was friendly inside, however the starter was a very crusty man. Got too the 1st tee and there was 5 groups on the hole. Fairways were not maintained as well as the bunkers. One good thing I can say was the greens were running good for a municipal course.
Very picturesque!
Course was in good condition! Great value for the money. Whenever I return to Cocoa beach I will play the course again!
Nice for a public course.
Staff was most efficient and friendly. As a single, they paired me with 2 others so we moved rt along. Fairways are pretty much flat with only a few raised greens but well trapped. Greens were in good shape - large and read-able. Course was very Man-friendly - mostly wide-open for all those sprayed tee shots.
This is a Great course for the money.
Great course but your sliders are hard to work.....
