I would highly recommend this course for the average to above average player. It is laid out well and the water holes are challenging. Much if the water is along side the fairways and creates a lovely view.
True greens
This course has 3, 9 hole tracks. It has enough trouble to keep you honest, but wide enough to bomb the driver. The greens are certainly top 3 in Brevard county. They rolled true and held every iron. The staff is great from the proshop to the starter. They had on course beverage cart which seems to be a rarity in Brevard. The 19th hope is top notch. Only downside is it is typically overpriced with the snowbirds down here. But if you can catch a hot deal for less than $30, grab it.
Okay
Conditions were just okay, although the greens rolled nicely. The course is flat and the most interesting part was the location and the dolphins in the Banana River. Played long for women, especially with no roll due to damp conditions.
REALLY wet
this course is normally very good ... Friday we played...
No warm up because the practice range was a swamp due to rain... Cart path only on the entire course due to - yep the rain... We would have preferred to play another time when it dried out but Golf now policy is - no refund to bad. I would ask Golf now to look into there system to see if they can update local weather conditions for courses and NOT allow customers to play courses which are this wet.... Some change is needed.
Great day
Played on 12-20 with my sons, excellent pace of play best condition of other courses we played this week. Greens soft and medium to slow but rolled fine. Nice layout we enjoyed the course.
Mr. G
Nice course, first 'crock', I would give it 3.5 stargs
This course has great features
This is a wonderful course with a wonderful layout the course itself is in great shape you can tell it's taken care of the greens are certainly not slow not lightning fast but you have to be careful with your putts .. I love it there I would not have a problem being a member but you need to experience for yourself I highly recommend this course
Great greens
Although the course was still very soft underfoot following the hurricane we enjoyed our game very much.
The greens are fantastic, as good as any PGA tour venue. Fairways wide enough and rough short enough to ensure an enjoyable game of vacation golf at a great pace of play - 3 hours 35 minutes.
Nice to see players enjoying the 'apres golf' in the happy hour bar after the game.
Would definitely return.
Wet
Booked and prepaid. Course had 27 holes but 18 were closed because of wet conditions. No carts. Had to walk 9 holes. Layout was nothing to write home about. Green fees are way out of line for quality of course. Will give good review of bar and restaurant. Good value for what we had. Golfnow was very cooperative when I asked for compensation for my problem. Couldn't ask better service.
Great views
The course is on the Banana River with great views and fun too play but some holes will challenge you. The tees and greens were in good shape while the fairways were wet but to be expected after a hurricane.
Great Time
I got the opportunity to play on Labor Day 2017 I checked in and the staff was very people friendly and went out of the way to help me out I've never played this course before it has three nine-hole courses and I was able to play the river course and the Lakes course. The river course is challenging with views of the river throughout it's great the Dolphins were playing plenty of wildlife out there the fairways were in great condition and so were the greens greens were a bit soft but played well the pin selection was average not too difficult not to easy the Lakes course was a little shy of water it was open and flat and was very easy to keep the Ball in play. The club house was clean a little pricey for a hotdogs but all in all it was well worth the trip I will be happy to play there again
