However a group of 16 out before us followed by a FIVE (apparently approved by the pro). Always understood a 5 ball was a NO!

Tedious round. The ranger promised us at the second hole he would keep it moving but we never saw him again. 4 hrs 40mins for a relatively short course is disappointing

Played here for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Great layout, very pretty, friendly staff and would definitely play it again.

I have been in Florida for a couple of weeks now and played Providence twice. What an enjoyable experience the moment you arrive at the backdrop someone is there to greet you. The entire staff has been so friendly as far as the course itself. It’s in great condition. I love the layout and I will play here every chance I get

Very disappointing day at the course today. I must have been distracted by all the 5 star reviews and missed the fact that they book 8 minute intervals. Starter informed us about a lot of things, even mentioning that we would have a five some in front of us and they were told they needed to keep things moving, which I do think they did but an overbooked course led to a 5+ hour round. Ran into a cart path only hole on the front and when we made the turn we ran into the ranger and asked him if there were more on the back. Said only #10, but we asked if we could have the restriction taken off one of our carts. Said he’d go in and take care of it. Cart was never unlocked and there were at least 3-4 more holes on the back 9, That cart even got locked while riding on the cart path driving to the 18th tee. The other cart started beeping for no apparent reason about 100 yards out from the green. There’s more, but I’ll cut to the quick and recommend you find someplace else to play. Would have been more enjoyable burning $100 bill. Only positive was the young guy at the cart return was friendly and apologetic., even though none of what happened was his doing.

It’s on the golfers to keep up pace of play, but tee times 8 minutes apart just can’t happen. There are too many golfers out and multiple groups were waiting on tee boxes. As of 4:07pm we are on teeing off on hole 8 and we teed off at 1:52pm, 3 singles put together. I’m Canadian so it’s not like a rain check is going to do me any good. I was excited to play the course based on reviews but do not come here.

I wish someone would have warned me. Extremely slow. I quit after 6 holes. They stack up the tee times too tight. Avoid this course, way better options.

Group of 8 Canadians, first time playing and this course was great, wonderful layout, great conditions, can't wait to play in Feb 2026, already booked

Pulled a last-minute tee time after my playing partner bailed on me and decided to give this place a shot. Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality for the price. The staff was great, the course was in excellent shape, and the overall experience was so good I ended up playing 36 holes. Fairways and greens were in terrific condition. I’ll definitely be back.

Staff were excellent. First tee time of the day so cant say much on pace of play. It was a nice course, especially for the price. Would recommend to anyone who’s looking for a good round without breaking the bank! Well kept.

Great fun course to play. Challenging from the back tees but the white tees at 6000 yards the course is very fun. Would def recommend it if you’re in the area.

Excellent customer service at check in, Jerry and staff do a great job. Course in terrific condition, greens are pure. Pleasure always at Providence.

This is a great course with great staff. I ready enjoyed my play today. I start out as a single and while on the course I like up with a couple of regulars.

I played by hot deal. Excellent fairway and green condition. Played within 4 hours.

This was a very nice course, I played during the warm up round of the Hurricane tournament but even so with all the golfers taking multiple shots and putting multiple times for different pin positions we still only finished 15 minutes behind pace. The course was in good shape and the hole layout was pretty nice. The starter was a little grumpy but other than that the staff was really friendly. Price was average for "in season" here in Florida.

If you find yourself in the Orlando area to golf you need to include this course for sure. First, the course itself if very well maintained, from plush fairways to smooth-rolling greens. Perhaps equally important is the friendliness of the staff. My buddy & I played 54 holes starting at 7am, and they were very kind to give us a great replay discount. We make this trip from out of state every year, so we’ll definitely be back.

I fear telling everyone how great this course is because then it will get overcrowded and well you know how that goes. lol

greens are true and fast course has a wonderfully challenging layout. only issue this round was the tee boxes were super harry while the rye is growing in. I mean, a 3 inch tee shouldn't be buried in the grass on the tee box. almost looked like we were hitting DOD.

Staff always incredible and though there was no bev cart this day when there is shes punctual and very attentive

Was on family vacation last March. I had a buddy in the area at the same time. After several disappointing rounds in the area, we stumbled upon Providence golf club. This place is so legit for the money! Pace of play was quick. Greens were awesome. Layout was good and staff friendliness was over the top. Bartender was super friendly and very accommodating. Jerry and Travis in the pro shop are top-notch. I have played a lot of golf in the area and it’s hard to compete with the value of Providence golf club.
