About
Providence Golf Club meanders through forests of ancient hardwoods, freshwater creeks, and natural wetlands. The course's scenic landscape also serves as home to an abundance of wildlife including otters, deer, and wild turkeys. Mike Dasher designed the golf course, allowing his admiration for European-style golf course to be reflected in his unique undulated greens. Dasher combined elements of heathland, parkland, and traditional Florida-style courses to create a layout that is both endlessly versatile and visually stunning. A notable hole is the par-4 14th, which will either make or break your score. Golfers will face the most demanding tee shot on the entire course that will determine your chances of reaching the hole in regulation. Providence Golf Club has a strong local following but it is also popular amongst visitors since it sits just fifteen minutes from the major theme parks.

Great course
Didn't get to finish 18 holes. Rain and thunderstorms rolled in. Did get 14 holes in though. Enjoyed the course very much. Will book again if I come back to this area again.
Great Outing
The course was in good shape and we liked the layout. The pace of play was really good. This was our second time playing the course and we were extremely satisfied both times.

I love this course
Providence is a great play to play. Fun for all levels of golfers. We played in the summer which is the off season, so we loved the laid back feel of everything.

Perfect
Played on 7/1/2025 Great weather, Super course conditions and friendly staff. The only negative I can think of was that they had just mowed the rough and there was a lot of clipping, but I didn't care. the course is in super great shape and the price is the most reasonable in the area.
I suggest you play the Green tees on #14, the tree's are getting tall !!

Great Value
Best course for the money. The greens and perfect and the course is challenging
Smooth
Well groomed course that provides great fairway lies and greens that can be attacked. Smooth rolls, and not too fast of greens. Maintenance crew does a good job here.

Providence is Wonderful
New people running course are amazing. Travis and AJ have some great ideas and are so much better than previous management. Wine and nine a blast!!!

WOW !! Course in Phenomenal Shape !
Course was in fantastic shape! Tee boxes, fairways, rough and greens all perfect!
Only complaint, I wish the water coolers on the course were not filled using a garden hose. Water tastes like garden hose water.

Thankfully we don't fill the water coolers up with hose water... gross... however when it sits in the sun it may taste different. Thanks for letting us know as our policy now will be to change the water coolers multiple times throughout the day. Awesome suggestion!
Slow Day
This review would be higher but we followed a 5 groups playing a scramble. The player assistant even checked in on us and said the 4th group was more than a hole behind the group ahead. He then left after 9 holes and no one took his place so I am unsure if anyone would have encouraged faster play. Maybe keeping this group happy was more important than how the groups behind felt.

Excellent course for the average club golfer
First time playing this course. Very well presented and in very good condition. Some interesting holes, but none were too difficult so as to ruin your round.
Very friendly staff and nice clubhouse. Great prices at happy hour!!

Golf on Vacation
From the moment we arrived you can tell the course was going to be great. Friendly greeting, zero pressure to hurry out and get going. Hit some warm up balls then away we went. The entire course was in excellent condition. Was our first time playing in Florida and was a great experience. Highly recommend
