Providence Golf Club

Lots of dog legs and blind shots. Greens were good with a few greens that needed some care. Fairways are good. Rough is good. Lots of water it’s worth playing.

Great course,superb layout,guy in pro shop could've been a bit more friendly,greens good generally,fairways excellent,all in 4 stars is right for this course.

Tee boxes were over seeded for repair. But the course looks great 👍

If I lived in the area, I would play this course often.

Pace of play was great, less than 3-1/2 hrs

Arrived an hour early before our tee time. We don’t like being late.

No one else going out for a while.

But because we used a “Hot Deal” from GolfNow, they wouldn’t let us out early. I don’t know if they are biased against GolfNow or against people trying to save money utilizing Hot Deals. We did end up starting 15 minutes early but ended up behind several slow groups and waiting on most holes.

Course layout and conditions decent however.

Course in good condition. Greens are excellent and good speed. Tees are being over seeded, but it doesn’t affect play. Fairways are good. Paired with another single and played in 3:30. Caught another twosome and waited on last 4 holes.

Course was in good conditions. Some greens needed work but overall good.

Enjoyed the course. However, tee boxes were recently reseeded so many boxes had all tees combined. Not a problem if it had been stated in golf now when it was purchased. Didn’t know until we arrived. Also, driving range was closed for maintenance that day as well. Again, would have been nice to know in advance.

I really love the layout of this course. It was in good condition. The on course staff was great. The guy at the desk, not so much. Didn’t seem to give a hoot about anything. Whatever was his fav response.

I love the Providence Course but I gave a "Fair" for Course Conditions because for the second time, while in the middle of playing a hole, the sprinklers kicked on and soaked me, my clubs, my playing partner and golf cart.

Why are you running the sprinklers in the mid to late afternoon while people are still on the course?

Pro shop was very friendly and helpful

Unfortunately the range was closed for maintenance

They got me off ahead of schedule so that I didn't have to wait because of the range closed

Greens were okay although they had a few that showed signs of distress and the old holes were not level with the surface.

Overall it was a good day and I will certainly play again.

I am only in this area a few weeks of the year, both spring and fall and this course is on my list to come back to play it again.

There isn't a standout feature but the condition, especially the greens, and the playability made this a pleasant trip out to Davenport.

The course seems well taken care of (exception is a dearth of rakes in bunkers) and the staff was terrific.
