About
Providence Golf Club meanders through forests of ancient hardwoods, freshwater creeks, and natural wetlands. The course's scenic landscape also serves as home to an abundance of wildlife including otters, deer, and wild turkeys. Mike Dasher designed the golf course, allowing his admiration for European-style golf course to be reflected in his unique undulated greens. Dasher combined elements of heathland, parkland, and traditional Florida-style courses to create a layout that is both endlessly versatile and visually stunning. A notable hole is the par-4 14th, which will either make or break your score. Golfers will face the most demanding tee shot on the entire course that will determine your chances of reaching the hole in regulation. Providence Golf Club has a strong local following but it is also popular amongst visitors since it sits just fifteen minutes from the major theme parks.

Good vacation course
This is a nice course, nothing special but well maintained and in good condition.
Get any beverages or water before you go out . We didn't see hospitality cart until the 10th hole. We were told there would be sandwiches on the cart. Having not seen the cart on the front nine we went into the restaurant for hot dogs and had to wait almost 15 minutes. I will however state that the staff were most accommodating and aware of the wait time.

Poor Experience
The course is extremely wide open with very flat greens. The condition was adequate although there were several burnt out areas on and around the greens. 5+ hour round. There was no bathroom facility on the back nine until the 16th green. Overall disappointing. I wouldn’t want to be a member there.

Good holiday course
Nice course, some very good holes. Ideal for vacation golf

Really nice course to play.
This is a very well manicured course, to play. It is well laid out and conditions were ideal. It is a course that mid and higher handicap players, would feel comfortable playing. It has fairly wide fairways. A well rounded course.
Not great not bad. Not worth more then 60$
Greens in good condition roll well but pretty flat not very fast.
Fairways and tee boxes are good- some tee boxes beat up. Bunkers weren’t very nice.
Pretty easy track. It’s not very long not much trouble besides water.
It’s a nice easy day. Starter was a good guy.
I’d play again but not for 100$+. It’s worth 60-70$ max.
Hot deals not welcome !
Apparently they have special rules when you get a hot deal . I was made to feel like a second class citizen. Nice course but if you get a hot deal you need to know your place .

Enjoyable
I played Providence three times during the three weeks I was in the Orlando area. The course is well designed, kept well maintained and presents a decent challenge. At $US 70 it is good value and keeps you coming back.

We walked off the course on the 15 th hole. It was over after4.5 hours. Would have been a 5 to 5.5 hours round. Won’t go back. And won’t recommend it

Nice challenge
Providence is well designed and generally well maintained. The bunkers could use some TLC. Water and sand comes into play regularly forcing you tp play smart. The natural setting of this course also makes the round pleasurable. At $70 it is reasonably priced.
