Providence Golf Club meanders through forests of ancient hardwoods, freshwater creeks, and natural wetlands. The course's scenic landscape also serves as home to an abundance of wildlife including otters, deer, and wild turkeys. Mike Dasher designed the golf course, allowing his admiration for European-style golf course to be reflected in his unique undulated greens. Dasher combined elements of heathland, parkland, and traditional Florida-style courses to create a layout that is both endlessly versatile and visually stunning. A notable hole is the par-4 14th, which will either make or break your score. Golfers will face the most demanding tee shot on the entire course that will determine your chances of reaching the hole in regulation. Providence Golf Club has a strong local following but it is also popular amongst visitors since it sits just fifteen minutes from the major theme parks.

Wide open course with lots of room

We had to deal with a bunch of cart path only holes because of overseeding. It would have been nice to know that before we booked. Nice clean track.

Best value in Central Florida

The course is in good shape, a couple of spots here and there but overall the tees, fairways and greens are all in great shape. With the prices skyrocketing this time of year this has to be the best bang for your buck. A excellent course that doesn't break the bank in Central Florida.

Played 5 times in our week away..this was my favourite. A terrific layout…lots of tee options which suited our coEd group. Conditions were great for early Dec; greens were tricky to read but fair. I’d highly recommend this one!

Played this course quite a few times now and it’s great to see it continually undergoing changes and improvements to the course. This can make the appearance a little untidy in places but hopefully for a good result eventually. However, cart restrictors were a little off, stopping us from proceeding when we were actually on the cart path! Took a bit of jiggling to get it going again.

Afew holes were cart path only due to very wet areas on fairways but other than that course was pleasant enough to play. Pace of play was shocking and despite there being a ranger on the course no attempt was made to encourage the slower grops to keep up. $ ball in front of us finished a full hole behind.

I’ll be back

Nice place. Course layout is fun. Good variations. Some holes were cart path only I’ve heard they upgraded the drainage system here and it shows. Some holes were just too saturated from the heavy rain the day and night before. Bunkers were just wet sand. Driving to the each hole was really nice. There’s some heavy construction going on for the homes on the back nine but overall was very pretty. I got a good deal and got lucky to play here as normally it’s a little out of my main course budget. I will definitely be back. Had a great time.
