About
Providence Golf Club meanders through forests of ancient hardwoods, freshwater creeks, and natural wetlands. The course's scenic landscape also serves as home to an abundance of wildlife including otters, deer, and wild turkeys. Mike Dasher designed the golf course, allowing his admiration for European-style golf course to be reflected in his unique undulated greens. Dasher combined elements of heathland, parkland, and traditional Florida-style courses to create a layout that is both endlessly versatile and visually stunning. A notable hole is the par-4 14th, which will either make or break your score. Golfers will face the most demanding tee shot on the entire course that will determine your chances of reaching the hole in regulation. Providence Golf Club has a strong local following but it is also popular amongst visitors since it sits just fifteen minutes from the major theme parks.

Nice Day at a Nice Corse
Everything was in good, from my last visit looks like they added GPS to the Carts which is always nice to have.
Condition of course was nice but pace was +25 minutes.
Awesome place!!!!
What a great place!!! Superb staff! Jim the starter is just the best and Jessica in the bar is awesome, they made our weekend. Placed two days in a row and was just perfect!
This is a well maintained course.
Il will continue to be play Providence when in Davenport for the winter. Greens were fast and consistent. We wanted to have dinner after golf two different Fridays and were told there were know reservations available. Please expand your dining options.
Great Layout
Thoroughly enjoyed the course. Fun and interesting holes. Pace of play could improve if pro shop monitored the play through the GPS on the carts. We fell behind 30 minutes due to the foursome in front of us. Only other recommendation would be strategically placed port-a-lets until the on-course restrooms are completed. . Will be back!
Providence
We enjoyed the course. Pace was quite slow for the price. Very disappointed that we were not able to have an appetizer at the end of the round as the kitchen was closed. We did have a drink and a bag of chips. Otherwise was an okay round.
1st time playing
I liked course layout, good challenge. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Fairways and rough ok per time of year (no over seating done). Greens were very slow and grainy, needs work, greens were shaped good - size and sloped fine for good challenge.

I cannot remember the exact cost I paid but it was worth it.
Great experience
Played a number of courses over past month + and these were the finest carts yet l, loaded and clean…great tee boxes, good greens and an overall pleasing layout…very friendly and accommodating staff…back soon!
Full price for solidly beaten greens
Course was fun but once you were on the greens it was like a mine field. Poor greens keeping especially for a $100 round
Solid track
No complaints about this place, booked the time last minute and was happy with the play and layout. Great greens, some fun hole layouts.
Nice course
Good layout with saucer greens. Greens fantastic. Very quick but pick the right line and the ball runs true. Buggies brilliant with Sat Nav. A little damp in places which caused you to have mud on your ball occasionally. Finally if you want to see crocodiles this is the place. Some are huge. Will visit again next time I’m in Florida. Thank you Providence.
Nice course and a good challenge for all levels of golfer.
