Providence Golf Club meanders through forests of ancient hardwoods, freshwater creeks, and natural wetlands. The course's scenic landscape also serves as home to an abundance of wildlife including otters, deer, and wild turkeys. Mike Dasher designed the golf course, allowing his admiration for European-style golf course to be reflected in his unique undulated greens. Dasher combined elements of heathland, parkland, and traditional Florida-style courses to create a layout that is both endlessly versatile and visually stunning. A notable hole is the par-4 14th, which will either make or break your score. Golfers will face the most demanding tee shot on the entire course that will determine your chances of reaching the hole in regulation. Providence Golf Club has a strong local following but it is also popular amongst visitors since it sits just fifteen minutes from the major theme parks.

We met up with one of long time golfing friends fromt he Washington D.C area and his 15 year old son. It was absolutely fantastic. We had great time playing the course which was in great condition. The greens were with out a doubt the toughest I have played in quite some time. The staff from the time we got there until we left was outstanding. We stopped for a bite to eat and the waitress was really attenttive and was really good. Will definitely be back to play again and again and again

OK, but not GREAT......

The course conditions were OK, but not as great as others have been making it out to be over the past month or so. The greens were somewhat bumpy and were more brown than green. Not sure if the green conditions were a result of the cold weather we had or not.

Due to the new construction of homes and home sites, it is not as visually appealing as it once was, but that can be said about a lot of courses in the area that are being built out.

Still a fun course to play.....

Very nice course

We really enjoyed the course. The new manager was very friendly and accommodating. The starter was a little bit salty shall I say. The restaurant food was okay but the service was slow I think only due to understaffing. It was overall a fun experience. I would definitely recommend the course.

Soggy mess

Even though the course was damp from overnight rain they were still watering everywhere!

Many holes were cart path only which made it difficult to enjoy and rendered the GPS on the cart useless.

One of my wife’s favourite courses I won’t be going back.
