About
Carved from pine, oak, and magnolia trees, Cypress Lakes Golf Club tumbles through gently hilly terrain, a rare landscape for a Florida course. Formerly known as the Solutia Golf Club, Cypress Lakes is also covered with hundreds of crepe myrtles and blooming azaleas and of course, cypress trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and the trees can prove to be tricky but the challenges of the golf course are balanced with the generous width of the fairways. The course's playability appeals to a variety of different skill levels, especially with four sets of tees available as well. In addition to the course, there are also extensive practice facilities available at Cypress Lakes Golf Club including an all-grass driving range, a practice putting green, and a practice bunker.

Pace of play way too slow. Course should not allow
5 somes. It stacks things up. Course and greens very firm. Needs water bad .

Pace of play as always was slow. Course vey busy.
Nice course outlay . Good variety of holes.
Course conditions varied from soft/wet to firm/hard.
Green speeds were not very consistent, but not too bad for March. Good value compared to area courses. Staff very friendly. Will come back soon.

Awesome Course!
This course is far better in shape than most of the public courses around the Emerald Coast…Period! It looks like a PGA tourney or two has been played there before. It’s wide open, but has challenging water locations.

This course has a great layout
Good course, good condition except the greens are so slow putting is very difficult. If they would speed up the greens, this would be an incredible value.

Enjoyable
Good shape for an early spring. Greens freshly sanded but relatively true, fairways filling in. Lots of maintenance being performed.
