About
Carved from pine, oak, and magnolia trees, Cypress Lakes Golf Club tumbles through gently hilly terrain, a rare landscape for a Florida course. Formerly known as the Solutia Golf Club, Cypress Lakes is also covered with hundreds of crepe myrtles and blooming azaleas and of course, cypress trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and the trees can prove to be tricky but the challenges of the golf course are balanced with the generous width of the fairways. The course's playability appeals to a variety of different skill levels, especially with four sets of tees available as well. In addition to the course, there are also extensive practice facilities available at Cypress Lakes Golf Club including an all-grass driving range, a practice putting green, and a practice bunker.

Fun day, but wouldn’t drive 85 min to play again
Due to rains over the weekend, the course was quite wet. I’m sure it would have been more fun in season and on drier days. Pretty straight ahead layout. Some interesting holes. Facility offers driving range and practice green. If I was local, I’d definitely play it often as it is great value and a good warm-up course. Based on the good reviews and good value, we drove over from the Destin area. There are so many great options around Destin, I probably would not recommend making the drive just to play this course unless you were already in the Pensacola area for another reason.

Fun day at Cypress
The course was nice, greens were great. Pace of play was great. Wet in spots due to excessive rain last week. All in all, a great day

Rough shape but good for the price.
Busy place on a Wednesday afternoon in February. Very nice staff. Course was kind of rough. Fairways very hard even with recent rains. Greens really slow and sticky. Cart paths a disaster. Back nine a bit better. I’d go again for the price.

Got paired up with two nice brothers from
Gulf Breeze. They were fun to play with . Course was good for Feb. Pace of play too slow . Had to wait every Tee and green . Marshall was riding along with group in front of us.(?????) Round took 41/2 hrs.

Great value
Course was a fairly good condition. Greens were full but slow. We enjoyed the layout and pace of play was good. We walked and there are some hills but it was a pleasant walk. Great value.

Great deal for a quality course
Fairways and Greens are very well taken care of. Nothing bad to say about the course. It's challenging enough , you can use every club in the bag, plenty of distance. Pace of play could be a little better. The pro shop is good, no bar or restaurant food. Snacks and beers are available in pro shop.

Windy Cool but nice
Friendly staff. Course slightly wet because of overnight rain. Greens in very good condition. Greens very difficult to read.

Nice Course
Nice little course tucked away off the beaten path. Friendly staff and good golf carts. Fairways could use some tic but tee boxes and greens were well kept. Would reccommend and play again.
