About
Carved from pine, oak, and magnolia trees, Cypress Lakes Golf Club tumbles through gently hilly terrain, a rare landscape for a Florida course. Formerly known as the Solutia Golf Club, Cypress Lakes is also covered with hundreds of crepe myrtles and blooming azaleas and of course, cypress trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and the trees can prove to be tricky but the challenges of the golf course are balanced with the generous width of the fairways. The course's playability appeals to a variety of different skill levels, especially with four sets of tees available as well. In addition to the course, there are also extensive practice facilities available at Cypress Lakes Golf Club including an all-grass driving range, a practice putting green, and a practice bunker.

Awesome Course!
This course is far better in shape than most of the public courses around the Emerald Coast…Period! It looks like a PGA tourney or two has been played there before. It’s wide open, but has challenging water locations.

This course has a great layout
Good course, good condition except the greens are so slow putting is very difficult. If they would speed up the greens, this would be an incredible value.

Enjoyable
Good shape for an early spring. Greens freshly sanded but relatively true, fairways filling in. Lots of maintenance being performed.

Course was in ok condition, greens were not bad, fairways need some work.

Fun day, but wouldn’t drive 85 min to play again
Due to rains over the weekend, the course was quite wet. I’m sure it would have been more fun in season and on drier days. Pretty straight ahead layout. Some interesting holes. Facility offers driving range and practice green. If I was local, I’d definitely play it often as it is great value and a good warm-up course. Based on the good reviews and good value, we drove over from the Destin area. There are so many great options around Destin, I probably would not recommend making the drive just to play this course unless you were already in the Pensacola area for another reason.

The course was nice, greens were great. Pace of play was great. Wet in spots due to excessive rain last week. All in all, a great day

Rough shape but good for the price.
Busy place on a Wednesday afternoon in February. Very nice staff. Course was kind of rough. Fairways very hard even with recent rains. Greens really slow and sticky. Cart paths a disaster. Back nine a bit better. I’d go again for the price.
