About
Carved from pine, oak, and magnolia trees, Cypress Lakes Golf Club tumbles through gently hilly terrain, a rare landscape for a Florida course. Formerly known as the Solutia Golf Club, Cypress Lakes is also covered with hundreds of crepe myrtles and blooming azaleas and of course, cypress trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and the trees can prove to be tricky but the challenges of the golf course are balanced with the generous width of the fairways. The course's playability appeals to a variety of different skill levels, especially with four sets of tees available as well. In addition to the course, there are also extensive practice facilities available at Cypress Lakes Golf Club including an all-grass driving range, a practice putting green, and a practice bunker.

This course has a great layout
Great layout, course in decent shape, greens slow. If greens were a little faster, would be a very nice course, but incredible value for the money.

Nice course!
Cypress is a nice course. Very fast greens. Well maintained sand. Nice variety of water and sand on Par-3’s. True Par 5’s. Kinda wonky set up from 15 to 16. There are some wide fairways. I played later in the day so the divets were real. Golf carts were plentiful. Practice area is close. No Marshall but pace was nice. No beverage cart. Get your food inside or at the turn. Dogleg left on 6 was fun.

Old Monsanto course
Good condition for mid-December. Greens slow but thick and true. Fairways good enough to play the ball "down".
I was looking for a playable course and found it here
The staff was quite friendly and the starter was able to match me up with groups both days I played. This course matches my skill level and I felt relaxed here. The greens are in great shape. From what I heard from others is that they are putting some resources into fixing up some areas that needed updating. I recommend this course to anyone unless you are looking for a challenging PGA tournament type course.
