About
Carved from pine, oak, and magnolia trees, Cypress Lakes Golf Club tumbles through gently hilly terrain, a rare landscape for a Florida course. Formerly known as the Solutia Golf Club, Cypress Lakes is also covered with hundreds of crepe myrtles and blooming azaleas and of course, cypress trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and the trees can prove to be tricky but the challenges of the golf course are balanced with the generous width of the fairways. The course's playability appeals to a variety of different skill levels, especially with four sets of tees available as well. In addition to the course, there are also extensive practice facilities available at Cypress Lakes Golf Club including an all-grass driving range, a practice putting green, and a practice bunker.

Old Monsanto course
Good condition for mid-December. Greens slow but thick and true. Fairways good enough to play the ball "down".
I was looking for a playable course and found it here
The staff was quite friendly and the starter was able to match me up with groups both days I played. This course matches my skill level and I felt relaxed here. The greens are in great shape. From what I heard from others is that they are putting some resources into fixing up some areas that needed updating. I recommend this course to anyone unless you are looking for a challenging PGA tournament type course.

Every thing about this course is getting better and better. My hats off to the grounds keepers, keep up the good work.

Love this course
Best kept secrete around. The course is in great shape from teebox, to fairway, to sand traps, to greens.
Nothing Special, but not disappointing
It was an average experience. We were paired up to make a foursome off the first tee. There were multiple foursomes in front of us. After the first few holes the marshal observed the slow play from groups ahead of us sped them up so it wasn’t an issue after that. The course looks okay. The greens are hard and don’t receive the ball well right now but they putt well.
Last minute switch
We had plans to play a course I'd played before, when ì noticed a hot deal on a course that was rated in the 4s. So, we switched and played Cypress Lakes. This course is no where near a 4. It had so many flaws, a 3 would be generous. There are so many good courses in the area, this one is not recommended.
