About
Carved from pine, oak, and magnolia trees, Cypress Lakes Golf Club tumbles through gently hilly terrain, a rare landscape for a Florida course. Formerly known as the Solutia Golf Club, Cypress Lakes is also covered with hundreds of crepe myrtles and blooming azaleas and of course, cypress trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and the trees can prove to be tricky but the challenges of the golf course are balanced with the generous width of the fairways. The course's playability appeals to a variety of different skill levels, especially with four sets of tees available as well. In addition to the course, there are also extensive practice facilities available at Cypress Lakes Golf Club including an all-grass driving range, a practice putting green, and a practice bunker.

Delightful Course in Great Condition!7
Course is in beautiful condition. Friendly staff. Course is challenging enough but great fun. 100% enjoyable even on a super WINDY day.

Best I’ve ever seen this course. Pace of play a little slow but weather was perfect so let it slide. Beverage cart would be nice but good value for money spent.

Good value course
Had a fun round at cypress lakes, very friendly staff and good pace of play. Course was in decent condition given the recent storms. Facilities were quite run down and the clubhouse/pro shop was reminiscent of more of a drive in movie theater than a golf course, but still functional and maintained.

Pace
Pace of play wasn’t good today. Got stuck behind a foursome and threesome wouldn’t let me play through as a single for several holes.

Slow play
When the course allows groups of five and walk ups to play in between tee times it should at the very least Marshall the course. Playing here is like shopping at Walmart.

Great fair ways
Being a subpar player the course was easy to play Could use stand up markers from 150 and 100 yards instead of colored indicators. Figured out at last hole to retrieve ball once in the cup. Lol

Played course since 70's
Best shape I've seen it in years. Greens slow but true, fairways nice. No amenities but best price in town.

Not too $$$, not too fancy
Layout is fun. Greens are tiny, almost unfair. Some fairways have weed and evasive grass problems. Couple blind tee shots and hilly area make for a nice change. Course can’t be described as groomed, but it’s not a bad atmosphere. Putting green is on a hill!?
Good place to play if/when they have online deals. Better local options at full price.

BEST CONDITION IN THE AREA
Right now this place is the best. Best Price, Best fairways, Best Rough, Best Greens, Best Bunkers. Better than Stonebrook, Marcus Pointe, Scenic Hills and of course Osceola municipal. Don't look for amenities but you can get drinks and a hot dog and other small snacks. Parking lot has always been bad. New range balls, very nice staff to include good starters.
