Carved from pine, oak, and magnolia trees, Cypress Lakes Golf Club tumbles through gently hilly terrain, a rare landscape for a Florida course. Formerly known as the Solutia Golf Club, Cypress Lakes is also covered with hundreds of crepe myrtles and blooming azaleas and of course, cypress trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and the trees can prove to be tricky but the challenges of the golf course are balanced with the generous width of the fairways. The course's playability appeals to a variety of different skill levels, especially with four sets of tees available as well. In addition to the course, there are also extensive practice facilities available at Cypress Lakes Golf Club including an all-grass driving range, a practice putting green, and a practice bunker.

Cypress Lakes
I’ve played this course for over 20 years when visiting my family. The course is on a comeback. Of course the grass was dormant, fairways a little ruff. The main thing I noticed was how the greens were a lot better than last year at this time. Rolling pretty good, especially down hill. Very fun layout, greens give this course teeth. Overall I think this course has made a good effort bringing it back into decent shape.

Good Course..............
Winter time but course in good shape. Greens fast. You can see where they are working very hard to improve the course. New Greens Keeper working really hard and it shows. Enjoy.

Better than expected
Great value for a great course. Not your typical Florida course with rolling hills and beautiful scenery. Greens and tee boxes were the best in area.Staff was very friendly. The only complaint I had was the threesome in front of me that I caught up with on the 11th hole would not let me play thru. I would have gladly played with them but was never asked. This wasn't the courses fault. I will definitely be back.

Perfect weather
The weather was perfect for a day of winter golf. Played with 2 other fellas and had a very enjoyable time on the course. The course is in very good shape for the middle of winter and the greens are in amazing shape. You can not go wrong playing this course.

Hidden Gem
Scheduled to play after it rained and the staff called to warn us of soggy conditions before we got there. A+ effort and even offered a tee time change. Greens were in great shape and well manicured. Hoping to make it back and play another round soon.
