Carved from pine, oak, and magnolia trees, Cypress Lakes Golf Club tumbles through gently hilly terrain, a rare landscape for a Florida course. Formerly known as the Solutia Golf Club, Cypress Lakes is also covered with hundreds of crepe myrtles and blooming azaleas and of course, cypress trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and the trees can prove to be tricky but the challenges of the golf course are balanced with the generous width of the fairways. The course's playability appeals to a variety of different skill levels, especially with four sets of tees available as well. In addition to the course, there are also extensive practice facilities available at Cypress Lakes Golf Club including an all-grass driving range, a practice putting green, and a practice bunker.

Hidden Gem
Scheduled to play after it rained and the staff called to warn us of soggy conditions before we got there. A+ effort and even offered a tee time change. Greens were in great shape and well manicured. Hoping to make it back and play another round soon.

Cypress Lakes Review
Fun course for the price. Small greens and fairways have weeds, but overall the course is maintained well. Does not drain well on 5 or 6 holes after rains. Hilly area of town and layout has many approaches to elevated greens. It has the craziest putting green - it’s on the side of a big hill! Parking is tight, so be careful in the upper lot.

Always enjoy playing this course
This course has a propensity to be wet in certain areas but you can work around that. Otherwise it is well cared for and a fun layout with neither too much sand and water.

Fun Course
Had a lot of fun on the course. The elevation changes are unique to the area. Course was in very good condition especially for the end of November. It is a little out of the way, but worth the drive especially for the price.

Wish It Were My Home Course!
I live in Gulf Breeze so it's 30+ minute drive-even when the 3 mile bridge is accessible! However, It's half the price of most local courses (Tiger and Hidden) and has much more of a private atmosphere. You're in the woods and among nature 75% of the time yet the course fits right into the layout. The course slope is definitely the challenge but if you can drive it 240-300 you'll be just fine. Favorite holes for me are 2, 7 and 13. Great all around so I say thanks to C.L.G.C.
