Carved from pine, oak, and magnolia trees, Cypress Lakes Golf Club tumbles through gently hilly terrain, a rare landscape for a Florida course. Formerly known as the Solutia Golf Club, Cypress Lakes is also covered with hundreds of crepe myrtles and blooming azaleas and of course, cypress trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and the trees can prove to be tricky but the challenges of the golf course are balanced with the generous width of the fairways. The course's playability appeals to a variety of different skill levels, especially with four sets of tees available as well. In addition to the course, there are also extensive practice facilities available at Cypress Lakes Golf Club including an all-grass driving range, a practice putting green, and a practice bunker.

Distinct from Other Local Courses
Cypress Lakes features many elevated and relatively small greens that test one's short-game abilities. There are plenty of variations from hole to hole. The groundskeeper is surely one of the best as the course, especially the greens, is in great shape despite last year's hurricane and winter conditions in general. While the amenities are somewhat lacking, the challenge of play makes it a great course.

Great value and fun course
Some nice views and interesting layouts. Was able to play on a weekday with virtually no slow downs either in front or running up on us. I will play here again soon.

Great day for golf
My wife and I have played at Cypress Lake Golf Course several times. Every time we play there we have a great time. Greens are in very good shape and fairways are well maintained. The staff was very courteous and helpful. It was very busy and rate of play was steady. Over all another great day of golf.

This place was a dog track, slow play, best part were the bunkers and tee boxes otherwise not with the money
Unless there is a $15 hot deal

Pretty
Excellent views of the rolling hills and several lakes. Greens in good shape. Some low spots on fairways were soggy and roped off.

Glenn lakes
Really like the lay out. Even though the grass was dormant, there seemed to be plenty of grass in the fairways. Some of the greens had a little bit of ruff ness to them but not terrible. Fun course to play, a lot of risk reward type holes with the bunkers and trees that you can challenge. Nice course!
