About
Carved from pine, oak, and magnolia trees, Cypress Lakes Golf Club tumbles through gently hilly terrain, a rare landscape for a Florida course. Formerly known as the Solutia Golf Club, Cypress Lakes is also covered with hundreds of crepe myrtles and blooming azaleas and of course, cypress trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and the trees can prove to be tricky but the challenges of the golf course are balanced with the generous width of the fairways. The course's playability appeals to a variety of different skill levels, especially with four sets of tees available as well. In addition to the course, there are also extensive practice facilities available at Cypress Lakes Golf Club including an all-grass driving range, a practice putting green, and a practice bunker.

Player friendly course
Played 18 holes in about 3 1/2 hours and was in very good shape. I am playing it again on Monday.
Great Water.& Terrain Challenges
Super friendly staff in Pro Shop and grounds crew alike. Golf course architect really speaks to you here. Water features and rolling terrain render the course anything but flat and boring. Well placed fairway shots are well rewarded. Greens in nice shape and roll fairly true. I wound up behind a pokesome of three.

Good shape
The course was somewhat wet due to the steady rain from the day before. Areas were marked off that were to wet for cart use. The greens were in good shape and the course was in winter dormant mode but still very playable.

Winter Golf
Course was in good condition, cold winter day with temps starting the 30's, had a frost delay for about 1.5 hrs,
Always a good time, always challenging if you get off line...

Great layout
Turf was hard ( afraid to take a divot), greens had bumps/ mounds, and were inconsistent (fast on one, slow on the other).. not what I remember from 2 years ago...explains why the value was do good...
Hello Dennis4819192, Our greens are in transition from summer grass to winter grass. A necessary evil this time of
year, will be much better in a couple of weeks. 0" of rain in over 30 days does cause firmness of the turf. We hope to see you at the course again soon with a fresh perspective.
Love the layout and price
I love this tract! Seems like conditions have slipped a little in the fairways in the last year but not the greens - they’re soft and plush. Please cut them shorter so the speed is on par with all other local courses. I’d play here more if they weren’t so slow.

The course is in great shape, however, the greens need to be cut a little shorter. The greens are in great shape but they are slower than what they should be. Great course, love playing there!

Nice round
From some of the reviews I was a bit leary, but when I arrived at the course I felt at home. The only ding I can describe was that the greens had small depressions in places that affected accuracy of putting. I practiced on the putting green, but did not use the driving range or snack shop. I look forward to my next round there.
