About
Carved from pine, oak, and magnolia trees, Cypress Lakes Golf Club tumbles through gently hilly terrain, a rare landscape for a Florida course. Formerly known as the Solutia Golf Club, Cypress Lakes is also covered with hundreds of crepe myrtles and blooming azaleas and of course, cypress trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and the trees can prove to be tricky but the challenges of the golf course are balanced with the generous width of the fairways. The course's playability appeals to a variety of different skill levels, especially with four sets of tees available as well. In addition to the course, there are also extensive practice facilities available at Cypress Lakes Golf Club including an all-grass driving range, a practice putting green, and a practice bunker.

Nice round
From some of the reviews I was a bit leary, but when I arrived at the course I felt at home. The only ding I can describe was that the greens had small depressions in places that affected accuracy of putting. I practiced on the putting green, but did not use the driving range or snack shop. I look forward to my next round there.
Golf Course Conditions
The fairways,tees and rough are overgrown with crabgrass. No roll on tee shots in the fairway and very difficult to chip. I will not play here again for a long while. That's a real knock considering I have probably played there over a 100 times over the past 5 years.
Wife golf date
My wife wanted to take me golfing and we decided on this course. Some very wet spots on the course but could have been worse due to all the rain. Fairways not bad. The greens were slow early but got a lot faster as the round went on and lots of left to right break on almost every hole. Very interesting the course was challenging and we had fun. We'll be back

Great course!!
Course was in great shape considering all the rain and golfers that dont have the sense to stay out of clearly wet areas!! Staff does a great job at keeping this course in excellent shape!!

Challenging greens
Rain all week and during first three holes butccourse remained in shape. Played well and fair even with all the water.

This course is in great condition
Usually play this course under hot deals off golfnow.com....for the price whether regular price or hot deals this course is still challenging for the average golfer and above all is in great condition. I found myself playing this course the most this year.

Nice course
I have played here 4 times now. Course has been in good shape, Fairly wide open, you are able to hit a send shot even if off line. Rough is not too deep, there is a little water on the course, seems to bite me at #2, and #17... I do enjoy the course and for the money I feel it is a good value. Club house is lacking ... there might be a hot dog waiting if yoy are lucky

Very Satisfied
After golfing at another course that was more expensive but not very nice, Cypress Lakes was a relief to pay less for a greater golfing experience! I definitely will be bringing more of my friends to Cypress in the future! The course had all the amenities that I was hoping for and a fun course. The only downside was that there is a lot of water.

Nice layout and grounds. Course was in good shape. Clubhouse is simple but has snacks and drinks.

Nice course to play
The staff is friendly and this is a nice course to play. Still a little wet but drying out. Also greening up. Greens were slow but in good shape.
