Cypress Lakes Golf Club
About
Carved from pine, oak, and magnolia trees, Cypress Lakes Golf Club tumbles through gently hilly terrain, a rare landscape for a Florida course. Formerly known as the Solutia Golf Club, Cypress Lakes is also covered with hundreds of crepe myrtles and blooming azaleas and of course, cypress trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and the trees can prove to be tricky but the challenges of the golf course are balanced with the generous width of the fairways. The course's playability appeals to a variety of different skill levels, especially with four sets of tees available as well. In addition to the course, there are also extensive practice facilities available at Cypress Lakes Golf Club including an all-grass driving range, a practice putting green, and a practice bunker.

Great!
Very nice course. Lots of tee options lets you choose how difficult you want to play. Well stocked pro shop. Definitely will return!
Very good too excellent
Had a wonderful afternoon with three other golfers pace was good. Water stations were very helpful all that’s needed our beer stations😊
Course in great condition
Greens not fast, no poa annua to speak of, fairways well maintained as tee boxes in good shape too. Best I've seen the course. They are doing a lot of ground improvement that will make the course even better. Pace of play is very slow. You'll have a great time as long as you are not in a hurry.
Better than expected
Fun layout, open fairways, fun course to play. Green speeds were inconsistent and many greens are small and dome shaped, so be prepared for that.
Good course
Nice course. Greens are ok, small and fast.
Fairways need a little more work.
Good day
Played with some good people . Greens in good shape overall. Fairways not good . Early in growing season. Cut very short . Ball sits mostly on dirt . Lots of improvements being done on cart paths and tee boxes. Staff here is great .Look forward playing on better fairways. Price is getting out of control.
How it is supposed to be
This is a great little golf course that plays harder than the scorecard leads on. The greens roll quick and the false fronts will punish you. The staff was incredibly friendly, the regular guys that I got paired up with could not have been more hospitable and the rate at this golf course keeps it within reach to be able to play rounds of golf without breaking the bank. Maybe the best overall value round of golf I’ve played this year.
Home Course
Enjoy the course - it’s on the way home from work, and is in good condition, well taken care of. The staff is friendly, and they are generally on top of managing the number of groups playing to ensure pace of play is within reason.
Nice round of golf
Cypress Lake is a pleasant course to play and in pretty nice shape. There are a few holes under repair, but it’s just a few and doesn’t affect play. The pace is good, which is great as we were able to play 18 in just under four hours. Will definitely return.
Great bargain for a nice course
We reserved with our Golf Pass/Golf Now app and got a great rate. The course was just below great due to recent rain and some course maintenance but the overall course was in pretty good shape. The holes are all challenging due either to length or landscape. Many greens are elevated and undulating making approach shots critical. The green rolled true but were a little slow. One of the good aspects of the tees was that they were set up for driving distances by number between one and five. The driving ranges chipping green and practice putting green were are great. The staff was friendly and the starter and Marshall were very helpful. Will be back soon
Good course
Have been out to Cypress Lakes a couple of times this winter and we enjoy it. The grass is dormant, so it’s difficult to chip and the tee boxes for women’s play aren’t well-placed or level, but the fairways and most greens are generally well-maintained. Not much in terms of food and beverages, but that’s to be expected off-season. Play could be faster, probably from overbooking.
