Not coming back
Greens were horrific, rest o f the course was in below average shape
Great Potential
The staff here is unfailingly friendly and welcoming. Apart from two holes that run side-by-side, the layout defines a self-contained space for all other holes. Just four or five holes are bordered by houses. The rest are bordered by ponds, brush, and woods. The fairways are undulating from beginning to end, with hillocks, humps, and swales everywhere. Bunkers are placed appropriately to catch wayward tee shots and approach shots. The design is varied and challenging. Par five holes are not long, but narrow significantly 100-yards or so from the greens so to make long hitters think twice about trying to reach a green in two shots. One par three hole requires a shot across a pond; two others require shots to elevated greens. Many of the the par four holes gently dogleg left or right, rewarding drives that take a certain line and have a certain shape. The fairways and tee boxes are in decent shape. A majority of the greens are struggling in one area or another. On these, sand has been applied to cover areas where grass has failed to grow, So putts may not run true on parts of some greens. But when the hard work underway now to improve things pays off, this course will be a fun golfing experience for all levels of golfer. I really enjoyed it as things are now, while recognizing that its great potential has not yet been fulfilled.
Nice course!
The greens aren’t the best, but they roll true enough. The fairways are in great shape. The course is great price and the staff is very welcoming and “wants” you there.
Fairways are excellent, greens an approach areas very bad
For playing the course for the first time there are areas that are very poorly Marked, leaving to confusion where to go next in 3 to 4 holes. Staff and personnel in the clubhouse are away above excellent chicken places doing the same thing hope you have a great, which makes you want to come back again.
Fun golf course
The golf course is a lot of fun to play. The greens aren’t perfect but they are definitely playable. It’s over seeded and very green. It was a fun layout and most holes have no houses in sight and even sometimes you can see Bok Tower off in the distance. I will be back 100%. My wife also pointed out the carts have good brakes on them lol they stop every time.
Good value for money
The course itself is in decent shape, except for the greens. The whole course is seeded with rye grass. Greens included. The greens are patchy and need to be mowed. The fairways were in pretty good shape. The course layout is very nice and is a challenge. If the greens were in good shape it would be a great course to play. Would play again for the right price.
Greens tees and surrounds recently seeded . Tees and surrounds came in well but problems with greens. Looks like they have reseeded areas of the greens and they may come back in a couple of weeks. Otherwise course was in fair condition
The greens had just been top dressed
No warning about the top dressed greens. They wee impossible to putt.!
Poor attitude
The owners were rude and inconsiderate when explained that my fourth was unavailable at the last minute due to a family emergency. I had no way of adjusting my party size. The course will get their money yet refused to even entertain a rain check for my absent fourth. I will NOT return to this course in spite the fact it’s in my back yard.
Saturday outing
The layout has always been great. The fairways were good. The greens were smooth a little slow some lack grass in a couple spots. Overall very playable. A good time was had by all
Probably the worst course I’ve ever played at. Goat ranch. Would not recommend to anyone on this planet
A quiet, beautiful experience
The tee boxes are pristine, the greens are excellent, but a bit tough to read, there is some development, but for the most part, it's you and the course. If you stay in the fairway, you are OK, otherwise, you are challenged. Course management will yield the best scores. A great golf experience with an excellent team from the pro shop to the restaurant. Spread out tee boxes can help any level of play.
This is a gem of a course......a must play!!!!
Course is in grat shape and presents a good challenge....great value for the money and the satff is excellant.
