stay out of the water and don't hit over the green Photo submitted by fishinmission on 03/17/2013
I love the layout of the course and conditions are improving. Great value.
Indianwood
Golf course needs help with some of the greens that have multiple bare spots. Some bunkers don’t have sand, they’re packed dirt. Fairways are in need of real grass
Tough day
Great pace on front nine BUT then group that stopped and ate lunch jumped in front of us on 10!!!! Thats a NO NO!!!! U stop yu lose place in line....
Then they were so slow....they were a hole n a half behind!!!!!!
Need someone to control 10 Tee
Great Day of Golf
Upon check-in started on the 10th hole, stuck behind to two slow groups of four players, and then transitioned to the 1st hole and got stuck behind 4 foursomes and the starter commented the Pro Shop didn't inform him there were a few groups that started on first on the back 9 or he would have played us first. After waiting 30 minutes for the 4 foursomes to clear the first 2 holes, they started to spread out, up till a constant rain drizzle and they departed the course which allowed us to finish our round. Course management of golfers needs to improve just a bit, at least for spacing of foursome and pairs. The slower golfers in front wouldn't allow us to play through with our pace being a little faster than their group. In all the times playing this course this is the first time, this ever occurred, but regardless a great value and nice course to play, love the tree line back 9, while the front 9 is a little more open (sparing amount of trees compared to back 9) but has more water hazards to maneuver around.
Free hor dog on Monday
This course seemed narrow. It was challenging witht wh fury and slow greens. The fairways need a lot of work. I would like to play it again, not hungover. It is a decent course for the money.
never seen such bad conditions
had heard that the course was not in good shape. played it last year and it was a little shoddy. obviously they are putting zero dollars back into maintainence. This course will not make it if they don't take heed. I won't be back until I hear good things about Indianwood!!
I have been playing this course for over 15 years, a real shame to see it in this shape!
Indianwood review
Great value for the money. Not a difficult travel. Plays quickly. The course itself is challenging however the novice golfer can enjoy playing here
4-some
We brought friends from out of state to play and we were embarrassed! The greens especially were in appalling! Our friends were so frustrated with the course that we had to quit after 9. We treated them so at least they weren’t out financially but WE were!
What kind of grass is this
Pour Quality of grass on the fairway and on the green.
Descent shape
The course is in decent shape still wet though. I had a lot of plugged the balls, so the course is playing pretty much all carry. They still need to get the bunkers back into shape, they’re hard compact right now. The greens are running probably an 8, but they still have some spots with crabgrass growing in. I got a hot deal for 15 bucks so it was definitely worth it.
Golfnow out of touch
Tried to check in at course (having made a reservation w/ Golfnow) but golf course could not connect with Golfnow. A few other golfers had the same problem. Twice this has happened to me. Need to fix this
