Indianwood Golf & Country Club

We have played here many times over the past 12-14 years and saw the course maintenance start to go down hill just after the start of the pandemic but this is the worst I've seen it and may in fact be the worst golf course I played in the 40+ years of playing golf. The fairways are combination of dirt, weeds and sometimes grass but the worst and biggest maintenance issue are the greens. It appears as though they have not been cut in a long time and were absolutely "unputtable". The course should not have been open to the public until these greens are made "puttable". As an indication of the lack of maintenance the waste bunker on 16 was full of tall weeds and the drop areas were not chalked or signed, so unless you have played here previously you would have no idea where to drop. There are many more maintenance issues but this should suffice. I must add that the last time we visited the restaurant/bar the service was good as was the food and the beer was cold, however they weren't open therefore the rating I gave was from a past visit and not the date we played this time..

Staff - great, friendly and helpful

Greens- slow and need too be cut

Tees - okay

Fairways- some okay, some bad, need overall mowing

For the money- not great

All the staff at Indianwood go above and beyond welcoming you to their course except for the fairway lawnmower who continually drove back and forth while I was trying to tee off on 1 and hit approach shot on 7

Course needs a ton of work, but if money is a problem, this is a valid option

This course is a hidden gem away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the county. Great layout and conditions for the price.

Only thing that was lacking was somewhere to get quick drinks at the turn.

Course need some serious work and attention, it’s in very poor condition. Fairways are hard and lies are very very tight with little base under the ball.

Very bad conditions and staff is very unfriendly and non accomodating

Indianwood staff is friendly. The price was good because of golf now. But the course conditions were not very good. The greens were very green plush but very slow. The tea boxes are watered and green and pretty good in general. But the fairways and traps we're in bad shape. Some traps are overgrown with weeds and none of the fairways had been watered or fertilized.. I played Indian with a couple of years ago and it was in much better shape. With the shape of the fairways and traps I give it a one-star at most.

Overall better than last time. We play there only because of the rates and then the Seminole inn for lunch!

My group and I play here regularly. Is more budget friendly than other course's. The layout is quirky. Not too long but it can jump up and bite you (9th hole).

Staff is friendly and the New restaurant doesn't hurt. I will be returning.

Grass was not great. For a 2pm tee time on a Wednesday, it was very backed up.
