Terrible putting green
The worst putting greens I’ve ever seen in the 40 years I’ve been playing
The Greens ruin the round
The greens are so bad here they should be letting people play for 5 bucks a round. Apparently weed killer was used on them, and its a nightmare. To be fair, its a great course otherwise and when they fix the greens I would come back
Conditions of the greens
Conditions of the greens; The course in general is in pretty good shape. And the starter and people working there are very friendly. But the conditions of the greens are horrible every green has over 100 to 200 areas that are about the size of my hand that need to be filled in. This problem was probably caused by some sort of fungus or weed earlier in the year and needs to be treated .
Horrible Greens
The greens were eaten up with turf missing the size of softballs. Nothing was said at time of payment about the condition of the greens. If it was just one green I could understand. But, it was every green. We have played this course for years and have always enjoyed it. It will be a while before we play again. The only saving grace was the fact that lunch was included with the greens fee.
Great day
Great day of golf. Putting was difficult and many divots on all of the holes. Otherwise a very attractive course. straight forward. wild life noticeable sleepy gators
Needs Help
It appears that the lack of play and therefor income has made the maintenance of the course problematic. The greens overall are terrible with bald patches almost everywhere and many portions of the fairways are also bald with appartentely no help in sight. It's very sad situation as prior to the virus the course was in very good condition.
Good day on bad greens
Lovely staff, amenities and food. Great layout for average golfers like us. Overall in good condition - but for the greens. They are in bad shape due to recent heavy rain. Fungus, bald spots, thin cover, etc.
Give them some time to recover and I would heartily recommend.
Thanks Golfpass for a forum to share with the community.
Greens are absolutely un puttable! Long and furry! They have dug up all the Crabgrass out of the greens, and left the bare craters. Used to love playing here,it’s a shame!
