Nice course in the middle of no where
We like to travel around and experience different courses & this one took us about 1 hr. 15 mins to get to. Out in the middle of no where but it was a enjoyable day & the course was well kept. Even though the back is shorter by approx. 200 yrds. it was a lot trickier. Can't blame the course for the difference in score from the front 9 to back. I needed to adjust and didn't do a good job. Still, well worth it even though you don't save much on GN from walkin price.
Nice course in the country
This is a nice course to play, condition was good, course is challenging from the back tees, lots of water
restaurant has very good lunch menu, burgers are great
greens are very nice
love the course but the last two times I played the play time was very slow .I think their are overbooking and the rangers are not moving play along.
Nice greens, slow play!
It is a great deal for the time of season, but expect to wait on every tee box. No starter in the afternoon makes for slow foursomes and random pairs mixed in all over the place. Tee boxes are rough, but the greens are in great condition.
Very good experience
Saw the Indianwood ad in the local paper and decided to give it a try and certainly glad I did. Course was in very good condition overall, My wife and I had lunch before the round and the food was very good. Great couples course. With all the above factors it is no wonder the course is very busy and play is on the slow side even with the rangers. It's a bit out of the way but worth it.
Golf in Indiantown
I've always enjoyed playing here. .. reasonably priced and consistently in great shape. While located in the middle of the state, the breeze remains pretty constant even in the summer. If you can stay for lunch, the restaurant is the best around.
played twice in a week
Played the course on Monday less than four hour round friendly staff and good course conditions on Friday different story as went early ate lunch an had a great burger. Arrived before tee time although no one was waiting the starter told us to come back in a half an hour. This was so two foursomes of ladies could all arrive before teeing off. Went to get practice balls had to pay $8 even after saying it was included with the booking. Course was still in good condition but took too long to play just made it before dusk.
Indianwood golf club
I play out here frequently, the course is under new management and is in the best shape I have ever seen it ! I live in Jupiter, and it's a scenic 30 minute ride, I like getting out of the city, there are no houses lining the fairways, scenery is beautiful, people are friendly, I love coming out here to play ,
And using Golfnow I can get some good deals that enable me to play here and other local courses, where normally I don't play at all during the season :)
good variety of holes and some excellent par 3 holes
Tee boxes and course in good shape, however the greens were quite shaggy making putting difficult. course noted that they had mowed the greens that morning, however, the grass length would indicate otherwise. Lowering blade on mower would make all the difference
pleasant surprise
Nice layout with some great holes. Enough challenge to make it interesting yet playable to make you want to go back. A pleasant surprise. Only con is they should get newer carts.
really enjoy
Course is very fun to play nice condition it's really a hidden gem worth the drive
Nice change of scenery/routine for a great price
Unusual golf course as it is borderline muni maintenance-wise (greens were scalped to baldness, punched, thatch everywhere, normal putting impossible, lumpy tee boxes) but still a great place to get away from it all and have fun. In the late afternoon it was really nice out even in mid-August. Had the course mostly to ourselves with a 3:45 tee time.
Off the beaten track and decent scenery, less than a dollar per hole is a great deal and a welcome relief from the snotty, 8-minute per hole pace of play mediocre courses for which Florida is famous. This and the Florida Club are the best deals around.
Course has come a long way
We've been playing Indianwood for ages. The course has had it's ups and downs, but last fall they got new management and the course is getting better by the day. It's a distance to drive for us (45 miles) but we always have a good time there, some holes are challenging and the back nine is older with mature oaks and native Florida foliage. Good deal and you can get they're golf and lunch special. Friendly staff in the pro shop and restaurant. Greens are a little slow but true. All in all a good place to play and have fun.
Rude
Arrived early for our round. The course was a bit wet as it had been raining earlier. He was extremely rude. So much that our foursome left without playing. This is uncharacteristic. There were not many on the course and the guy in the proshop may have wanted to go home early. Whatever the reason, the level of rudeness was unacceptable. I would not play there for free after being treated like that. We drove almost an hour for the round of golf and drove an hour to find another course.
Nice little course.
The course was in great condition, especially considering the amount of rain that had been in the area the last few days. Other courses in the area were flooded. We had a great time playing this course.
Fun course for the price!
Well laid out and decent course. Just be sure to get a golf cart that will make it through the day!
