Great Value
Great value course. Maintained well, not a pristine course but a fun track for the price.
Indianwood has great value for the $. Pace of play is excellent. The greens can be fuzzy and somewhat inconsistent.
I think Indianwood is a quiet gem. Great value and a challenging
course. I think it plays tougher than the slope/rating. The greens could be faster but they are very adequate for a public layout.
Pace of play moves quickly, generally under 4 hrs. The holes have unique features: water carries, doglegs, large trees that require accurate tee shots. I find the course one that you want to come back to play.
course has great features
The greens are very receptive to high iron shots. They are also great to putt on.There are not many other public courses in Martin county with better greens.Fairways were in good to very good shape. The layout of the course has some very challenging holes.and some longer par 3's.Will definately play here again in the near future.
course, indianwood
we really enjoyed this course, great shape, greens are very good, better than many courses we have played in the okeechobee area, we would highly recommend this to our fellow golfers
Good value. Bit out of the way...greens roll well but fairly slow. Maintained better overall than some other similar courses in the area.
My wife and I played the course several times in Feb 2013. We consider it a very good value. 4 par 3's on the back 9 were different, but challenging nonetheless. We enjoyed the course and will return.
Good value.
Course condition is much improved over lastime( 2 years ago). Fun course. No condos around the perimeter, not typical Florida layout. Good place to play with the wife. Ranger maintains good pace of play.
Good value for a course in very good condition
Th course is far from any place where people live.
But, when you get there, it is a great value for the price charged.
Great condition, and staff
Most enjoyabe, all was excellant, greens a little rough to read.
Fun Track
The staff has definitely improves the course and it is a fun course to ply with the front nine being a links style and the back nine and traditional woodland course. The carts are old and tired but don't let that turn you off, this is a great course for the money and a fair challenge. If they keep improving the course it is a potential gem.
Very well designed and very well maintained.
Tuesday was our first time playing INDIANWOOD and the 4 of us were very impressed with all aspects of the course, the restaurant and the staff. We were disappointed with the lack of drinking water on the back nine. By the time we made the turn the water coolers on the back nine were dry and it was a very hot day. Other than that it was a great expierence and we will play INDIANWOOD again in the very near future.
Very challenging course and in really good condition!
We have now played this course four times. There is lots of water, traps, rolling fairways. Very difficult greens. Course is in really good condition and a great value for the money. Only negative I would have is their golf cars which leave alot to be desired. Regardless, definitely plan on playing there many times. Well worth the trip to Indiantown.
Nice course in good condition. Good speeds on greens. Great value for the money.
Nice course in good condition. Good speeds on greens. Great value.
This is a good course, a little out of the way but easy to get to. No more mileage away than many other places I play.
It is located in Indiantown, but very easy to get too. The trick to getting in is to go past the entrance to the Indiantown park and take the next right. Go down the road a short drive and there is a entrance on the right. No bag drop so dont bother to look for ione.
Good value for the money but course is not managed well
Not a bad layout. The greens are in good condition. Fairways are a little rough. Pro shop seems to be a little hostile (or maybe defensive) since there doesn't seem to be a lot of effort being made to improve the course. The golf carts are prehistoric. Ours was running out of juice before we started.
That being said, the $30.00 greens fees makes up for a lot of sins.
There are better, more interesting, places to play.
Out of the way (middle of no where). Slow play and too many adjoining parallel fairways making it a bit risky. Fast greens.
Maybe value for money but spend the extra $10 or $20 and enjoy some of the better courses Florida has to offer!
A great out-of-the way value!
Received a great price for this course on GolfNow, decided to give it a shot. Was very pleasantly surprised! Great layout out in the country that was maintaned very well, staff was very friendly, a good pace of play and a very cozy bar and grill. Saw that the back nine was only 2900 from the back tee so we were not expecting much, but it has to be one of the most challenging courses in the country at that distance! 4 par 3's, 3 par 4's and 2 par 5's, all good holes. Could use newer carts, but acceptable. We will be back and would recommend a trip to Indiantown from Stuart or WPB!
Fun layout
Course was in great condition front nine more open still requires
Accuracy back nine significantly more tight good test enjoyed very much
A great time
A nice course, good value, friendly staff. A little to far to drive on a daily basis, but a monthly visit from Port St Lucie is possible.
this course is an excellent bang for your buck
A very nice time. The course was in good shape and a decent challenge. Will play again
I feel that the Day my wife and I played golf it was very much over booked.
The cart we had after nine holes had to be pushed to get it going. I went to the pro shop and asked if I could have a cart with a fresh charge. I was told there weren't any. There happened to be one that was just returned and we took that one and just made it through the back nine. They were out of ice ( had to go upstairs to the bar), range balls, and the back-up for each tee was at least three foursome. That's why I stated the in the above message, they overbooked last Thursday.
