Oaks Course at Stonegate Golf Club

We really enjoy playing this course. It's fun with just the right amount of challenge. A couple of greens need work and the weeds are starting to work their way towards the fairways. But, overall this is a great course.

Had a great time spending the day out at this community. Immediately befriended one of the residents and had lunch with him. Although the were short on golf carts, they were prompt with getting me on the course as soon as they could. I was riding single, so 4 foursomes let me play through. Definitely worth the hour drive from my house!

We try to get one round here whenever we are in the area. The conditioning is always good. The one draw back this year is to get the yardage on the GPS you have to pay for it.

My wife and I played the Oaks course with two Canadians who were very good company.

The course was in very good condition throughout and gave a real chance of par on most holes but these could easily be double bogey if you strayed off the fairly generous fairways.

As far as holiday golf goes this course is exceptional value through Golf Now and we’re only sorry we found it so late in our holiday.

The par 3’s over water are really good challenges but give a real sense of achievement if you get on and stay on the greens.

To enjoy it, I think you need to be realistic with your choice of tee - I play off 12 and found the white tees a perfect match, my wife - off 17 - was comfortable off the red tees.

All the people we dealt with were friendly and welcoming. If we come back to Orlando, we’ll definitely be back and no doubt try the Cypress as well.

My wife and I were accompanied by a member (Cathy) and her guest (Madonna) for a wonderful golf experience on a very well maintained golf course. The company was excellent as was the pace of play. Will certainly return.

Booked on golf now, found the same price at course, without having to pay additional charges. Next time will call course direct.

Really good layout and excellent course conditions. I just wish that management would offer winter memberships.

If you are in the area it is a must play.

This course is a great tract. The staff are professional and courteous. The course is in good shape and pace of play is manageable. The food at the Grill is great and the staff are attentive.

Played with members and had GPS in the cart for like two holes then it was gone. It turns out you have to pay for it, even the members do. This is odd as most courses now offer it at no charge. Call me spoiled but half the time I had no idea what club to hit. This being my only criticism.

As usual, this course is a great tract. Challenging but interesting. We enjoy playing this course and meeting new people.

Played this course and condition was JUST ok. Temp green on the 3rd ....was behind a very very slow 4 ball and got to the 5th hole and was on green and noticed they left a club on green...I picked it up went to next hole and gave it to them and said do you mind if I play through you guys. They said ok mumbleing. Then next hole one of the group of members came up behind me on my shot and gave me verbal abuse about we are members and you are a visitor and you have no right etc etc. I left course and went clubhouse which I got a full refund and they offered me free golf vouchers which I refused as i would never go back Do not PLAY IF NOT A MEMBER !!!

Locker rooms, restrooms and refreshment area all out use whilst improvements underway, this should have been flagged up before we booked. There had been rain the day before so we were on cart paths only but the conditions could have allowed 90 degree play. We would not have booked it we had known this. We were given coolers but there was little water on the course, absolutely vital on such a hot day, fortunately we had taken liquid and cool towels to help.

Fairways and greens a little fluffy. An interesting layout but far too long and wide fairways and too hot for cart path only.We drove a long way to play this course again but will think twice before going again.

Heavy rain the night before meant the course was very wet and cart path only, however, I still enjoyed this place. Some excellent and beautifully framed holes (the 1st is a cracker!).

Greens a little slow but very true, in the main. Conditions generally very good.

If you can get a good deal here, snap it up. It’s a lovey course on a lovely community setting.

I will be back to play the cypress course whenever I’m back in Orlando.

Well done to Hampton Golf on this place (less so for Falcons Fire).

First visit to the course and despite all the heavy recent rain, found it to be in excellent condition and dry underfoot. My son and I played and were joined by a very pleasant local member who informatively helped guide us round the course. We are from Scotland and have been coming to Florida 2/3 times a year for approx 10 years now, so we have played many courses in the State. Great VFM and will definitely return.
