About
Eaglebrooke, located in Lakeland -- halfway between Orlando and Tampa, is considered one of the premier golf courses in Florida. Its classic links-style design with over 100 feet of elevation change is unique in this part of the state. Natural lakes, abundant with wildlife, can come into play on eleven of the holes creating both spectacular scenery and challenging golf shots. To increase the challenge, there are six sets of tees on each hole. The "seniors" tees were customed designed for the course by architect Ron Garl. Garl requested Senior Golf Magazine to survey seniors for optimal playing preferences and then included these requests in the course design. The atmosphere is first class and the course features bag pick-up at your car. Eaglebrooke was the first course in the US to use Greg Norman's GN 1 grass, the fastest growing and greenest grass available.

Always nice
Greens rolled true and good pace. In great condition. Same as fairways. Great layout and with the wind today a challenge.

The staff is not very friendly. Except the cart girl she was very nice

My day at Eaglebrook
I throughly enjoyed my round today! Unfortunately for me I was paired with 3 gentlemen who were far better than me! I normally play from the white tees, these guys were bombing the ball from the blues and felt a bit intimidated and ended up playing from the blues as well. Definitely made a long day for me! Back to the driving range for me! I’ll be back!!
Wish it was in my home base
What a great course. Selfishly, I hate to promote this course because it’s already getting a ton of play and every year the pace gets slower and slower:
Even with that, how can I not give props to this track?. Nice people working every area of the course from check-in to clubhouse to starter. I hate 4 1/2+ hour rounds, but everything else about the course, the conditions, the layout and the cost make it my favorite Central Florida golf course. If I lived there I’d be a member in a heartbeat.
Best course in Lakeland
Play here a couple of times a month but would play everyday if I could. Always challenging, with consistently good conditions. Doesn’t hurt to get a Hot Deal.
Getting better at Eaglebrooke
This is a course that gets better each time you play it. There is a learning curve
Nice Day
Course in good condition, staff very friendly. Played for the first time with a howling wind. Was nice to be paired with a member who greatly helped in telling where to hit it which was very helpful in the strong wind. I would recommend this course!
Exceptional
This course is in great shape, greens were firm but hold well and were pretty quick for public golf. It is a great layout, the holes just don’t’t let up on difficulty. For a purist, this is where you want to play. P
Another great day
This was a very good day. The weather was great and we were never held up.
Any time you get a eagle on #10 it's a great day!
