The Club at Eaglebrooke
About
Eaglebrooke, located in Lakeland -- halfway between Orlando and Tampa, is considered one of the premier golf courses in Florida. Its classic links-style design with over 100 feet of elevation change is unique in this part of the state. Natural lakes, abundant with wildlife, can come into play on eleven of the holes creating both spectacular scenery and challenging golf shots. To increase the challenge, there are six sets of tees on each hole. The "seniors" tees were customed designed for the course by architect Ron Garl. Garl requested Senior Golf Magazine to survey seniors for optimal playing preferences and then included these requests in the course design. The atmosphere is first class and the course features bag pick-up at your car. Eaglebrooke was the first course in the US to use Greg Norman's GN 1 grass, the fastest growing and greenest grass available.

Best of Show
We stayed in Lakeland for a month, found this course and played it 3 times. Fun track with a great layout and even better people. Our Favorite!!
Eaglebrooke
Was nice to get back to Eaglebrooke at a decent rate. Course was in good condition and pace of play was good.
Nice course
Was referred here by a friend and not disappointed. Back 9 was a challenge but course was in great shape.
First time long time
Had not been there since 2020 right before COVID-19 started. What a nice treat to get back to such a nice course with the Gang of 4... Great course, great starters ...
Great day at Eaglebrooke!
Course is in fantastic shape, greens quick and true. Great pace of play our foursome played in four hours. Staff couldn’t be nicer. Great finishing hole!
Beautiful Course
Course was in great condition. Will play again when we get back in this area.
Great course, great value! Play it.
Believe the reviews, the course is fantastic. The layout is challenging, but not brutal. Good elevation and undulation in the fairways and greens. Water is in play on a good number of the holes. For 50 bucks, it is the best deal around. What you will find with most Florida courses is anything that is open to the public is in terrible shape. The semi-private courses (this is one) are very well-maintained. My only caution to you is the people that are “members“ don’t mess around. We were the first group out (4 guys, 8-12 handicaps, 7:20am) in the morning and they stacked five or six member twosomes behind us. The oxygenarians wanted to play lightning fast. We finished in 3hrs, 45min and these old folks were on us like white on rice. Also saw a big ole gator, which was cool
Would have rated higher if it was not for the rude group of members in front of us. Rainy morning, not many players on course. Group of 3 members in front of us a hole and a half. We didn't want to push them because we were a twosome. Hit some extra putts and chips on most of the first twelve holes. Then all of a sudden there are 4 in front of us, and for the last 4 or 5 holes a fivesome. we waited on every tee box and fairway. Way to go members, Pretty Rude. Drove over the last couple weeks from an hour and a half away, you guys just saved me some miles.
Hidden Gem
Great layout and fantastic price. We will be back!

Eagle
A lot of course for the money. Special call out to the starter today.. I came out single and he put me through a threesome on the tee to catch a fast playing twosome ahead. He went the extra step. Always a premium course and worth my 45 minute drive
Thank you so much for your 5-star review! We are so glad to hear you enjoy our course and wonderful staff. We look forward to having you back in the future.
Great Conditions
I’ve Eaglebrook many times. It’s always in good shape but today was the best I’ve ever seen. Fairways were plush. The greens were in PERFECT shape and rolled true. The staff and crew were and have always been pleasant. Hats off to the greenskeeper! The course is in GREAT CONDITION.
Keep it up.
