About
Eaglebrooke, located in Lakeland -- halfway between Orlando and Tampa, is considered one of the premier golf courses in Florida. Its classic links-style design with over 100 feet of elevation change is unique in this part of the state. Natural lakes, abundant with wildlife, can come into play on eleven of the holes creating both spectacular scenery and challenging golf shots. To increase the challenge, there are six sets of tees on each hole. The "seniors" tees were customed designed for the course by architect Ron Garl. Garl requested Senior Golf Magazine to survey seniors for optimal playing preferences and then included these requests in the course design. The atmosphere is first class and the course features bag pick-up at your car. Eaglebrooke was the first course in the US to use Greg Norman's GN 1 grass, the fastest growing and greenest grass available.

Golfer Reviews
Great
Great course worth the hour drive would definitely go again
Bring your A++ game here
An excellent course, you must concentrate on every shot. Par 3's are all difficult. Short ladies course. 128 slope from mid tees. Course is tough, but fair.
WOW
I live in Wesley Chapel and this experience at The Club at Eaglebrooke was so worth the drive. Our foursome was absolutely amazed at the beauty of this course and its panoramic view on each hole. The title of WOW tells you what you can expect. From the time you enter the property until you leave you are treated first class by all. I want to thank Jim in the Golf Shop for his personal touch to my questions and to Cristi on the Beverage Cart - she was courteous and enjoyable to speak with. I will be back.
Nice place to play
Nicest fairways that I've played in the Tampa area. Greens were fast. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because there was only 1 water cooler on each nine holes. I don't know why in Florida there can't be drinking water on at least every 3 or 4 holes.
Challenging course in very good condition
Played as twosome, Pace was good (some 4h). The course is well maintained. Tee boxes. Fairways and bunkers in very good condition. Greens are rather fast. Some holes requires precise shots as there is water aside the fairway or in front of green.
Overall a very nice track, worth the travel from Orlando..
Great course great people
Well worth a visit really nice course and the staff are very welcoming, will definitely go and play there again.
Rain
I got rained on the # 14 and 15 th hole and my game went flop course was in good shape.
This is an excellent touch of traditional Florida Golf.
Had to return with a rain check to finish the round and was pleasantly impressed. Holes 13-18 were legitimately worth the wait.
The staff was friendly & very helpful. Compliments to Fitz. Members and Sarah (our bartender) added to our experience.
Nice track
A little down, I assume because of the drought here. Good, challenging layout. Greens are all in good shape.0
Usually better.
Maybe it was lack of overseeding this year, but fairways were a little burnt. Greens were recently top-dressed. Very nice practice area. Overall a challenging course that should be played if in Lakeland.
GREAT COURSE
Course was in great shape ..... greens were in excellent shape and speed was fast but not to fast and were challenging ... just the way I like it... fairways were in very good shape as well.
I've played this course many times and each time it's a pleasure...... I highly recommend it to anyone that wants a great course at a reasonable price.... You should not ever be disappointed ....
Eaglebrook is One of the best public courses in the state. They always keep the course in GREAT shape.
