About
Eaglebrooke, located in Lakeland -- halfway between Orlando and Tampa, is considered one of the premier golf courses in Florida. Its classic links-style design with over 100 feet of elevation change is unique in this part of the state. Natural lakes, abundant with wildlife, can come into play on eleven of the holes creating both spectacular scenery and challenging golf shots. To increase the challenge, there are six sets of tees on each hole. The "seniors" tees were customed designed for the course by architect Ron Garl. Garl requested Senior Golf Magazine to survey seniors for optimal playing preferences and then included these requests in the course design. The atmosphere is first class and the course features bag pick-up at your car. Eaglebrooke was the first course in the US to use Greg Norman's GN 1 grass, the fastest growing and greenest grass available.

Golfer Reviews
Great value!
This course is great! Course conditions were good, challenging holes, friendly staff, good food, nice pro shop. We would play here again!
Best course in the Lakeland area!
Great condition, nice big greens and wide open fairways! Staff was very nice. Starter was friendly and helpful.
One of the Best
I play here every year at least once. The course is in beautiful shape, greens are very good, around a 9.5 or 10 on the stimp. The holes are very challenging, everything you want in a round of golf.
Great range for practice and chipping. Food after the round was great. Will continue to play here every year.
Amazing course!
This course is absolutely beautiful. All staff were friendly and accomadating. Would highly recommend this course. We will be back!
Good course
Well maintained good course. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were very good. Looks like adding new "sugar" sand in the bunkers.
Relay nice layout, challenging, but wet and
Green very long and fairway too wet, look like the have irrigation problems...because weather was really nice for many days) bunker awful need to be redone
Always enjoy this track.
My favourite course in the Lakeland area. I love the layout, typical Florida with a fair amount of water but there are options to reach pins protected by ponds and lakes. The greens are in very good condition although quite slow. Usually the greens are a fair bit quicker but being early winter may be left longer to protect them. Major renovation of bunkering on the course which will enhance the layout even more. Pace of play was good until a 5th woman joined the group of 4 in front of us for the back nine. No sigh of a martial to rectify the situation.
5 star golf course
I believe this course is one of the nicest in the county if not central Florida.
Nice layout
Greens are undulating they were slow because of rain but rolled true. Fairways were in good condition
EagleBrooke Challenges us short hitters
1st -- staff is awesome, even to us GolfNow specials. I had forgotten how awesome their practice facility is --wish I lived closer. Course in good condition, except for the cup on first green; my playing partner (a club Member) slam dunked his 2nd shot from 150yrd #1 for an Eagle 2, but blew out the side of the cup. I love the layout, except for the changes along 16 & 17 to put in the big houses. The fairways were pretty soft & I need lots of roll-out, being distance challenged; the wind didn't help make it any easier either. Many sand bunkers under construction, but greens are good. Course was packed, so pace-of-play was not the best, but still just 4.25hrs. Thanx for the Hot Deals Special .......I'll be back!
Eaglebrooke Review
Played this course 8-9 times over the last 10+ years while in Florida on vacation. I am a fan of Ron Garl’s designs and this one is right up there with the best. Greens are always above average. 17 and 18 might be the best two finishing holes in Central Florida. Good value on GolfNow at or below $50.
One to keep on your list
Good conditions, and nice layout. Would definitely go back. Played as a single, and since weather was windy and cool for Florida, but perfect for me, as was like only one on the course, so breezed around.
Really enjoyed the course
I chose to play this course because of the golfnow rating of 4 1/2 stars out of 5 and it met my expectations fully. The course was in very good shape for December. The pro shop attendant was great and the ranger from Pennsylvania was awesome. We had a nice time chatting and he gave me a pointer on hole #16.
The pace of play was good as I was a solo and it was only 60°. I ran into a homeowner practicing on one of the greens which was a little weird and caught up to a group of 3 playing beat ball on #15. All in all ot was a great round.
Great course and great value
This is a beautiful course with lots of character. Challenging but fair this is a must play golf course
Horrid pace of play
Got stuck behind “members” as a single. Never once offered to play through. Two open holes in front of them. Pro Shop’s answer was “Oh, they are members”. Last time for me and definitely would not consider a membership there.
Great Course/Pace of Play Terrible
Course was in good condition, lay out was beautiful. Pace was terrible, .other then that I would play there again. Hoping they have more time spaced between golfers.
