About
Eaglebrooke, located in Lakeland -- halfway between Orlando and Tampa, is considered one of the premier golf courses in Florida. Its classic links-style design with over 100 feet of elevation change is unique in this part of the state. Natural lakes, abundant with wildlife, can come into play on eleven of the holes creating both spectacular scenery and challenging golf shots. To increase the challenge, there are six sets of tees on each hole. The "seniors" tees were customed designed for the course by architect Ron Garl. Garl requested Senior Golf Magazine to survey seniors for optimal playing preferences and then included these requests in the course design. The atmosphere is first class and the course features bag pick-up at your car. Eaglebrooke was the first course in the US to use Greg Norman's GN 1 grass, the fastest growing and greenest grass available.

Fun track
Pretty pricey in the morning but the replay rate made up for it. Lots of water and forced carries. Fairways are wide enough if you pick the correct side. Tee box’s need some work. Nice greens. Worth the trip. Great staff. Especially Eddie!

This golf course has no downsides for the experienced golfer.
Golfed this course for the first time and totally enjoyed it. No such thing as a boring hole on this course. The atmosphere the golf course presents is second to none. Aside from the great golf the natural atmosphere is top notch. Play this course if you get the chance.
No roll today.
After checking in we were told that it was cart path only for holes 9 through 15. The course was really wet not sure if that was due to all the rain or something else. The greens were in great shape. Nice layout but definitely played long today…….no roll. Glad we got a good deal
Great Course
We played the day after a storm, it was cart path only with the buggy and there were some areas where there were water puddles but the course played very well. The pace of play was good until the last couple of holes were it was very slow. The course is superb and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. Definitely one to play, we will be back before we return to the uk.
Great shape
Love this course layout is nice fairways are beautiful and greens are fast couldn't ask for anything more.
Great golf, great staff, no food on Mondays
The golf course and staff are great. But on Monday’s the kitchen is closed and there was no cart person all day. So bring your own food and drinks. Too bad, because the cart girls are hot and the wings are good… if you (order them fresh cooked) not reheated. C’mon chef, nobody likes reheated day old wings.
Recommend Playing
A challenging course inside of a beautiful gated community. There are many scenic golf holes and a good variety of layout and hazards. It is a nice track and will likely play again.
Nice but value isn’t there
2 holes completely closed. 9 others cart path only. I feel we overpaid given those facts and no warning til you show up to the course . Tees and fairways are quite shaggy… like hitting out of the semi rough on the tee.
Fun layout but honestly a $50 experience right now, at most!
Great layout
As always I enjoy my round at Eaglebrook. I just don't agree with the prices. The course isn't quite worth the $75(I did manage) to get it cheaper though. Used to play here a lot when it was $50 during the summer, now I only play when I get a deal. Still love the course just wish it was a little cheaper for what you get.
