North Golf Course at Big Cypress Golf & Country Club

About
Big Cypress Golf Club is home to two golf courses, the championship South Course and the executive North Course. Located in Lakeland, Big Cypress is situated between Orlando and Tampa. The courses are part of a gated retirement community called Cypress Lakes. The North is less challenging and offers a gentler version of the South that is more approachable to beginners. It is a fairly narrow layout that features tree-lined fairways and strategically placed sand bunkers. Water also has a strong presence on the course, coming into play on a total of 12 holes. The layout is player-friendly and offers several risk-reward opportunities. It is a great for beginners and more advanced players will enjoy it for a quick round or a warm-up for the South Course. In addition to the two golf courses, there is also a driving range and putting green.

Beautiful Nature
A good course that I would play again..very interesting holes.
Greens are good taking care. Worth the money.
You will enjoy it as long as it doesn't rain. Could be some wet spots.
Awesome
The short course is awesome for iron and putting work. Love playing here.
Stunning course
Well kept course
Stunning Course
Beautifully manicured course. I was profoundly upset that it was a Par 3 course, but quickly realized that this a well taken care of course with a bit of a challenge. Had fun so I’ll definitely come back
Fairly easy course
I didn’t realize until I got there that it was not a full length course. There were no par 5’s and mostly par 3’s. It’s a good course to practice your short game.
This course has lots of alligators
Awesome day again at this course. Greens in great shape and again we saw 20 alligators or more.
We will be back to play again soon.
Could have been better
Decent course but not worth the money that is being charged. Cart died on #7 and it took about ten minutes to get another one out there to my location.
Would not pay the price again to olay this course.
Course was good, Bar not so good most expensive beer in Lakeland,
Golf with friends
Executive course just right for 2 players. Challenging, fun course even with shorter yardage. Beautiful neighborhood, great landscaping. Can't wait to play the South course soon.
Windy day
Course in good condition greens fast rolling true good course to work on your short game lots of wildlife and scenery to see as u play only negative is the price unless u get a hot deal it’s $30 and that to much for a par 3 course no matter how good it looks they have so many members they can charge that to the public
