About
Plantation Palms Golf Club, designed by David Harman, provides every Tampa golfer with a challenging and rewarding golf experience. The links-style design starts with a welcoming par 5, and then slowly steps up with a mixture of strong par 3s. Just 10 minutes north of Tampa, this course was carved a 400-acre citrus grove that slopes from west to east, providing interesting elevation changes. Water is in play on 17 of 18 holes. Plantation Palms Golf Club has an attractive framing of greens by the use of pine trees, water and large snow-white sand traps. The true-rolling elevated greens have good movement and are a challenge for golfers.

The course was under water especially around the greens and not in the conditions that you would associate with the price paid.
wonderful experience
Very friendly atmosphere. I am new to golfing and I loved the facility and friendly staff.. The course was very challenging to me but it was lovely. I loved also that it was affordable. I will definitely be back and tell al my friends at tampa bay golf and country club where i live about this amazing golf course!!
Greens were over sanded and aeriated
Bad time for me to play but good for the course. It’s going to rain for the next few days and would have been the time to play day Friday or later. The Tik Toc meme was in play. No toilet paper in men’s room…
Still love the staff. Will play again.
Slow!
This course layout is fun and the greens are nice. Although they were punched recently, they are still pretty smooth and fairly fast. Tee boxes need serious attention as do some of the cart paths.....which for some reason, every course seems to neglect. My biggest complaint would be the pace of play. I played this course 2 days in a row, and both days were EXTREMELY slow. The rangers did their best to move people along, but it still remained very slow, which is typical for this course. Service was good and people were nice.

A Goid Mother's Day of Golf
It was a great a day of golf for our son, his mom and me. The course was in good condition and no one in front of us.
The course is fun
Went as a single, got paired up with a slow double. Other than that it was a fun day on the course. The course is a lot of fun but the greens were rough. They must have been done recently.
A very enjoyable course
We played here for the 1st time yesterday and it won't be our last. This will be one our 1st choices when visiting the area again. Even though the greens had been hollowtined they ran true and fast.
Staff acting in unsettling way
I don't understand how the staff thinks its funny when a staff member is found hiding in the bushes peeping in someone's house? I don't what you think about this but I would cation anyone bringing there wife or family members here, SOMETHING IS REAL WRONG HERE, STAY AWAY !
Hidden gem
We played the oaks course at Stonegate. What a great day. The staff was awesome. Everyone we came in contact with was friendly and professional.
The course was exceptional. The greens were bright green and fast. The rest of the course was beautifully maintained. Lots of wildlife.
Do not hesitate to play. We also ate in the restaurant the day we played and we went back the next night because it was so nice. Great food and drinks at very reasonable prices.
I would also like to say that mr. Wheeler in the pro shop was exceptional. He took great care of us and we will definitely be back.
Fastest greens!
Overall nice experience. Greens were the fastest that we played. I think it’s a nice $45 dollar course but we payed $65. Silly tourists.
Tee boxes were rough. Fairways were green but we’re thin.
Course is decently maintained. They are trying. Beautiful clubhouse.
I would definitely give it a try if the price was right.
