About
Plantation Palms Golf Club, designed by David Harman, provides every Tampa golfer with a challenging and rewarding golf experience. The links-style design starts with a welcoming par 5, and then slowly steps up with a mixture of strong par 3s. Just 10 minutes north of Tampa, this course was carved a 400-acre citrus grove that slopes from west to east, providing interesting elevation changes. Water is in play on 17 of 18 holes. Plantation Palms Golf Club has an attractive framing of greens by the use of pine trees, water and large snow-white sand traps. The true-rolling elevated greens have good movement and are a challenge for golfers.

Lot of walkers on this course which makes for slow play. Otherwise, great course for the money.
NICE and a Good Value To!
I found Plantation Palms to be a "must revisit" type course for me -- I often get bored with Florida golf being flat, open and between houses -- this course kept my attention and was very enjoyable.
Yes, you do play through housing but its nice and for the most part the houses are set back a touch and frankly the course was interesting enough that I wasn't looking at repeating screened pools all day --
The course had a great variety of holes some modest elevation changes and some target golf. It offered the opportunity to think about things before swinging away -- even a couple blind shots!
Staff was friendly and helpful -- plus the beverage cart seemed to make its way around in a timely fashion. The range was much like others, mats to hit off of but they were cushioned OK and fairly fresh -- there were a couple targets on the range and the balls were adequate for warm up but not good enough to do a heavy practice session with.
All in all a very fun course and a reasonable price -- played four rounds while in Florida over ten days and this is the course I would book again on another trip!

Course was nice, conditions good for the time of year. Staff friendly and helpful. One reminder, Tuesday is maintenance day, no range…
Nice course.. terrible pace
At times there were SIX GROUPS on the same hole - Four of them sitting on the tee box. 5 hour round.
Great condition
One of the best courses in this price range. Everything about it is top notch grass on The Fairway greens and tea boxes. Great layout perfect for all types of players. Of course amenities are really good great restaurant. If you can sit on the balcony beautiful view. I will be back
Great course
Greens were smooth and fast. Pace of play was good. 4 hour round for a 4-some.
Everyone there seems friendly. Will go back again.
Love it
I haven't played it in a couple of years since I lived here, and I was happy to be back. It continues to be one of the great courses in the Tampa area. From the pro shop to Louis the starter, to the bag boys at the turn and at the end, everything was terrific. It's an incredible value and they haven't taken advantage of how busy they are by jacking the rates. It's appreciated. Only negative from today was the bev cart girl decided to pack it in at noon time. 82° and not a stitch of water anywhere on the course. That's no good, especially for us northern boys. If they have enough staff, I would move on from her in a second.
Consistently Good Experience
Plantation Palms has some of the fastest greens in Tampa Bay to challenge your putting. I like playing this track because I use every club in my bag. The club has a wonderful 19th hole in Mulligans.
Need drinking water and ball washers
Only giving 4 stars for not having either on the course. It’s always in great shape with fast greens. For a busy day, pace was not bad at around 4 hours. If you can get a hot deal even better
