About
Plantation Palms Golf Club, designed by David Harman, provides every Tampa golfer with a challenging and rewarding golf experience. The links-style design starts with a welcoming par 5, and then slowly steps up with a mixture of strong par 3s. Just 10 minutes north of Tampa, this course was carved a 400-acre citrus grove that slopes from west to east, providing interesting elevation changes. Water is in play on 17 of 18 holes. Plantation Palms Golf Club has an attractive framing of greens by the use of pine trees, water and large snow-white sand traps. The true-rolling elevated greens have good movement and are a challenge for golfers.

Nice course.. terrible pace
At times there were SIX GROUPS on the same hole - Four of them sitting on the tee box. 5 hour round.
Great condition
One of the best courses in this price range. Everything about it is top notch grass on The Fairway greens and tea boxes. Great layout perfect for all types of players. Of course amenities are really good great restaurant. If you can sit on the balcony beautiful view. I will be back
Great course
Greens were smooth and fast. Pace of play was good. 4 hour round for a 4-some.
Everyone there seems friendly. Will go back again.
Love it
I haven't played it in a couple of years since I lived here, and I was happy to be back. It continues to be one of the great courses in the Tampa area. From the pro shop to Louis the starter, to the bag boys at the turn and at the end, everything was terrific. It's an incredible value and they haven't taken advantage of how busy they are by jacking the rates. It's appreciated. Only negative from today was the bev cart girl decided to pack it in at noon time. 82° and not a stitch of water anywhere on the course. That's no good, especially for us northern boys. If they have enough staff, I would move on from her in a second.
Consistently Good Experience
Plantation Palms has some of the fastest greens in Tampa Bay to challenge your putting. I like playing this track because I use every club in my bag. The club has a wonderful 19th hole in Mulligans.
Need drinking water and ball washers
Only giving 4 stars for not having either on the course. It’s always in great shape with fast greens. For a busy day, pace was not bad at around 4 hours. If you can get a hot deal even better
Fantastic conditions, great layout and friendly staff
Plantation Palms was everything a golfing experience should be. From the pro shop, to the starter, to the cart girl, everyone was incredibly friendly and accommodating.
The course was in fantastic shape with massive, beautiful greens, and picturesque holes that wind through neighborhoods. The course is fun yet challenging and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to play in the Tampa area.
Great course
First time playing here and I’ll say that it was a great experience. Not only did I shootthebbest round of my life it was just an enjoyable course to play. The price dictated the course. I wasn’t disappointed with the $60 fee. I definitely recommend this course to anyone that likes great greens and friendly staff.
Enjoyed the round
The staff when getting there was excellent. All staff everywhere was absolutely outstanding. Was a fun course. Greens are very fast and in good shape. Only paid 39 on Golfnow with my 10 dollar discount so was a great value. Some greens you have to fly and land on so not an easy course but was enjoyable. Would definitely golf there again.
