Plantation Palms Golf Club
About
Plantation Palms Golf Club, designed by David Harman, provides every Tampa golfer with a challenging and rewarding golf experience. The links-style design starts with a welcoming par 5, and then slowly steps up with a mixture of strong par 3s. Just 10 minutes north of Tampa, this course was carved a 400-acre citrus grove that slopes from west to east, providing interesting elevation changes. Water is in play on 17 of 18 holes. Plantation Palms Golf Club has an attractive framing of greens by the use of pine trees, water and large snow-white sand traps. The true-rolling elevated greens have good movement and are a challenge for golfers.

Course review
Came down for a little vacation and decided to wrap up the trip with this course. It was definitely worth it for the value especially this time of year! course was in the same conditions as others for $100-150 only difference was a few more bumps on the greens but that is all they were still very fast and true.
Good green
Nice course, reasonable pace of play. 4 1/2 hours, very challenging, forced carries, fast, true greens, fairways in good shape. Well worth the price. Nice bar/grill.
Nice experience not far from Tampa
Had had played here before and went back hoping for another good experience.
It was pretty busy but didn’t feel crowded.
Staff is very friendly and tries to help. We managed to loose a car key and a small bag that slipped off the cart and people returned it. So got lucky there, but not so much on the long fairways and especially plenty of water bodies swallowing some of our balls….we thought particularly the greens were really well kept
We also saw a gator to the pleasure of one of our UF graduates and a guest from Germany who finally stopped doubting us when we said that there are gators on the courses… all in all a good experience and not crazy expensive compared to some closer to Tampa. Some might enjoy loading some guests off at the nearby outlets…:-)
Thank you Staff and fellow players
Customer service excellence
The staff here is excellent and the course is in great shape always! Always enjoy playing here!
Getting better
PP is well on its way to becoming the great course it was 15 years ago. Clearly the new team is putting time and money into the course and it shows. Not a bad price for peak season and worth the money.
As Usual- Great
This course is always good and today was no exception. All as it should be and a pleasure. Note: Golfers, fix your ballmarks on the greens, eh? We all like 'em true.
1st Time Fun
I thought Platation Palms was a fun layout with very robust amenities. The staff was excellent from the pro shop to the grill/bar area. The pace of play could be improved. The condition of the course was very good but people need to fix their ball marks. I must have repaired dozens of them on my round. Overall, a very fun experience.
Decent course good value
Nice variation in holes some elevated greens and dog legs in both directions.
Traps needed more sand, greens are a little slower than I expected since they were Tiffeagle Bermuda.
Very friendly staff, I play here again since it was a good value for the money
Decent course.
Course had a nice driving range and practice putting green. People there are very friendly, The course was in decent shape, and they were a variety of holes with some elevated greens and dog legs in both directions... Not a lot of out and back holes which is great.
The greens were slower than I expected but not real slow, held well but had lots of ball marks. The brakes on the carts were terrible and barely stopped them and I found the GPS yardage on the cart was up to 10 yards different than my laser.
At the end of the day for the money, it was a decent value and I would play there again.
Everything very good
Course played nice. Greens fast, but with more divots, unfortunately. Peoples, please repair your green divot-
mark; it's a good feeling to have to, yes?
