Golfer Reviews
Great course
This course is in great shape and an excellent challenge. Incredible value for the round.
Course was packed
Not sure why the course was so backed up but we were grid locked from holes 7 and on. Didnt see one ranger out there. Crazy to have to wait 5-10 minutes to tee off every hole in the middle of summer.
Hot and Slow
Really enjoyed the course. The pace of play was frustrating - why put groups of 4 in front of a two or three group. Constant waiting on every hole does not make for an enjoyable round. If we are holding players up we always let them through, Some folks need a Golf etiquette review
Gorgeous course. Greens and pin placement VERY difficult
This was my second time playing Ibis. The only reason I went back, honestly, was because the course "ate my lunch" the previous week. As a 7-10 handicap player, this course due to its greens speed and pin placement gifted me an 86 my first round. Second time? Much better due to accurate drives, but no thanks to pin placement and rock hard greens. Pins were at time, 2-5 feet from the edge of a green making it almost impossible to attack them. When you do land the ball on an approach within feet of the pin, it's guaranteed that the ball will not settle near the pin and it will undoubtedly roll off the green or many feet/yards by the pin. Love the layout of the course, the quality, the facilities, etc. But for an above-average golfer, the greens are just too much to keep me coming back. Maybe it'll change once the rainy season gets up and going.
Great value for money
Course has a fun and challenging lay out. Best priced course in Fort Myers. Staff is very friendly as well
Work in progress
Forget about bringing your golf watch. Course routing has changed and there is road construction right through the property. Clubhouse under construction so snack bar is the only place for after round drinks. We had a threesome ahead of us that waited until the green cleared on every hole. So we waited on every hole. No Marshall to be seen. Part of new housing complex so I am sure it will improve but then maybe it won’t be open to the public.
Friendly Staff
Our original tee time was rained out due to a storm coming through as we entered the parking lot. The staff was very accommodating on booking us a tee time the following day. We were only in town for a few days for a youth baseball tournament and we had limited time available for the following day, they worked with us so that we could have a great experience playing with our teenage boys without interfering with their game times.
Improvement of this course is outstanding
I have played this course in the past,a couple years back this place is really nice now, cudos to the superintendent
Lives up to the Reviews
Played for first time at Ibis and it was a great experience!
The course is in great shape and the greens are as billed - don’t leave yourself above the hole.
They could use some better signage around the course as you travel between some holes.
Will definitely come back again. Keep up the good work at Ibis!!
Nice, affordable course in Lehigh
Course was very nice yet challenging and the price is reasonable. Great accommodations in Lehigh. Would play here again.
Consistently the best in SW Florida
We’ve played Ibis Landing multiple times, and the course is consistently in excellent condition. It’s easily one of the better-maintained courses in the area, with a great layout and some of the best greens you’ll find in Southwest Florida. The course is enjoyable, fair, and always presented well. Highly recommend playing here if you haven’t had the chance yet.
