Great course but cart path only was disturbing
Great condition but too much walking in the heat with cart path only.
Upon arrival we were informed that it was cart path only. I asked if the course was too wet and was told that it was too dry to allow carts on the fairways. I told the cashier one of my friends had recently had a knee replacement would they give him a handicap exemption. He said he could not and that if I wanted cancel I would have to contact Golfnow since that is where I purchased. I explained that I didn't want to cancel but if I had known before hand I would have scheduled elsewhere. I have never before heard of cart path only because course being too dry. I was very disappointed and my friend was only able to play 14 holes because of his difficulty walking. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!!
Just getting warmed up at Ibis Landing
This is a relatively new course. Lots of housing construction adjacent to the course. The course is still maturing. Greens were smooth and challenging. Fairways were lush. Bunkers were fair and not overwhelming. Carts were new. Two layout issues. A par 3 200yard hole with a forced marsh carry. And hole #10 needs a barrier to keep range balls out. Staff were excellent. Got a great rate. Worth a try.
Not a bad track
Bunkers were a mess. Not raked, inconsistent sand. Needs a good rain or two
Course in good shape.
Greens were fast and tricky.
Range, just Ok
Starter was a grump.
Lots of construction all around.
But nice layout and in good condition.
Will happily play again.
Great Layout terrific condition
Most SWFL courses are very firm and fairways and tees the grass is thin at best. Ibis has all around good fairways, tees, and greens are a 9 out of 10. True and good pace. Good value for your $ if getting hot deal or 3pm and after.
Pace of play was 3 1/2 hrs o. Monday. Play here before all the homes and condos are built.
Great Course
New course and neighborhood under construction. However, the course was in phenomenal shape, and unlike some Florida courses the greens rolled really well and felt more northern. Highly recommended to play here before it inevitably graduates to private/semi private
Ibis Landing Very good condition
SWFL golf is very pricey during Jan - May 1st.
Ibis Landing gives you a very good layout, great condition as many courses fairways and tee boxes are thin with little grass while charging $100+ but Ibis has grass and fantastic greens, bunkers are also in great shape. With the multiple tee decks it is a test for most golfers. This competitive Sr player plays Tee II @ 6,200 yds which is plenty of golf course. Hot deals or 3pm golf is great value.
