Genuine Championship Golf Course
My first time playing the course. I played from the II tees and I should have played from the III tees. Nonetheless this is an outstanding golf course in excellent condition. The greens are very challenging. Local knowledge will help a lot when playing Ibis Landing.
Rough
I realize that the second cut is supposed to make the layout harder, but 8" - 10" OVERGROWN bahia grass that swallows your ball so that it can't be found when your just off the fairway is ridiculous. Fire up those lawn mowers please.
Fantastic course and staff
This course is in fantastic shape and the staff was super friendly and accommodating.
I will be putting this in my favorites and playing it wherever I can.
Fairways are perfectly groomed and greens are soft and hold approach shots nicely.
Copperhead reborn
Great to see copperhead renewed. Course was in excellent condition. Staff was very helpful and friendly. It seems everything Linnar touches turns out to be well done.
Nice track
New sand in the traps, new greens roll smooth, fairways in great shape.
There's no water machine (you can buy bottled water)
The course is a good distance from the Gulf so there's not much of a breeze - gets hot.
They accept the SWFL pga pass. I will be back for play soon..
Play this course whilst it's offering great value rounds
I spotted that this refurbished course only opened this month and receiving great reviews. So we decided to take a longer drive for a game and it didn't disappoint us at all.
The staff are most welcoming. The fairways and bunkers are in great shape. The greens are pretty hard but in good condition. Carts are new with GPS. We also took advantage of the free practice balls on the range.
All in all, highly recommended and we will play it again.
Starting off with 2 par 5's in a row was kind of weird, fairways are narrow and the rough is thick. Alot of ob just off the fairway, So if your not hitting fairways be prepared to lose alot of golf balls. No food at the clubhouse as of 7/12/23. Overall good course it's slow playing early in the morning though.
It’s Back !!!!
What use to be copperhead is now ibis landing. This is a must play as it was an ok course years ago it is now a great course . Grass is healthy. Greens are rolling fast .
Great New Course
I was pleasantly surprised that a course that just recently re-opened, was in such beautiful condition! I've played all of the Gordan Lewis courses in the area and this one is among the best I've played. There are still some areas that need to mature and there are some very wet low areas that need to be addressed, but overall it's wonderful. I look forward to playing it again and will recommend it to all of my golfing friends!!
Best golf course in Lehigh
Played over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised at how good the condition of course was. Each hole was challenging. I will be playing this course again in the near future.
Great improvement
Amazed at what they did to this course. Great conditions, very challenging. I'll be back
Great Value
I believe the course just opened on Saturday (very recently nonetheless). The course is in very good condition but is playing tough. The course has wide fairways and the greens have some interesting shapes. The primary rough is think and balls tend to fall to the bottom. If you are in the deeper rough, it is almost impossible to find your ball. The course layout is a little awkward - start out with 2 par 5s and some crossovers from one hole to the next.
Overall, strongly recommend this course due to condition, price and staff friendliness!
Copperhead is back!
I had played the Copperhead version of this course many, many times. I loved the layout, but the conditions were horrible.
The new owner kept almost every hole layout the same I. The new version called Ibis Landing. They added a few new Tiger tees, so all the old tees were moved back some on about 6 holes. Also, with the plush grass the course played much longer than it did in the past.
The greens were beautiful, but a bit on the slow side. I am sure they will speed up some as the nature. They are also quite firm.
The fairways are fantastic. The rough is very nice as well.
If you played the old Copperhead course be aware that the holes have been rerouted and some areas that used to be in play and good places to hit the ball are now OB or very thick with grass.
The long par 5 up the hill is now a par 4, which takes some of the challenge away as that tee shot was a beast, but they are using the old tee as a nursery.
The staff was fantastic and very friendly. You could tell they wanted the experience to be top-notch. I will be back.
No liquor license yet. No starter, 2 twosomes in front of us. Pretty sure they were supposed to be together. Course is in great shape very challenging!
Nice, new course
This course recently reopened under new ownership. The course is in very good shape. Greens are quick. Tee boxes, and fairways are excellent. You do have to be aware of signs going from hole to hole as there are a couple of quirky turns. Carts have GPS a big plus on new course. Overall had a great experience and will definitely play here again as long as price remains affordable.
Very playable course
New course, generous landing areas on most holes and tees for all levels of play. Greens were firm, not fast, and putted true. Friendly staff. I’d definitely play the course again.
