Golfer Reviews
Very playable course
New course, generous landing areas on most holes and tees for all levels of play. Greens were firm, not fast, and putted true. Friendly staff. I’d definitely play the course again.
Excellent condition
Overall 1 of the best courses in Lee County.
I have the PGA card and I would rather play here...Get out while you can. Some holes seem straightforward but if your not in 1st cut or fairway you may be punching out or laying up. Tips are @ 6700 and challenging. Practice area is excellent.
Carts are top of line with GPS and have greens slope in monitor. This is another Lennar course with a complete makeover. Greens are tight @ 10. Fescue, 2nd & 1st cut rough on fairways with are trimmed perfect. Plenty of bunkers, trees and water to stay out of. Course is well marked for finding next hole as it can be confusing to some just follow the signs. Staff all knowledgeable and friendly.
IBIS LANDING - LEHIGH ACRES
Booking noted this is the first day Ibis Landing was open for play. This was the old Copperhead CC course that was run down and sold. The new owners have done a remarkable effort if the course was as bad as I had heard from others. The greens ran about 10 and for the most part were consistent. The overall condition of tees, fairways and greens are good to very good. The rough in many areas is REAL - like a course should be. Every person working that I met was very friendly and genuinely wanted us to have a great day. I will be back to play again now that I know the course somewhat. The GPS system is good. The only negative was the beverage cart did not sell beer. I assume they don't have the license to do that yet. It will be interesting to see what the course ratings are so one can really evaluate the course compared to others. OVERALL B+ to A-
