The tee areas are so sandy its like you're always teeing off from a bunker. Photo submitted by allanduke on 11/19/2023

Look at that green slime on the pond. At least it wasnt a layer of dead stinking tilapia like the last time I went here. Photo submitted by allanduke on 11/19/2023

Say What?
GoofyGolf 55 must be on drugs! This is not a 3 star course. Too bad you can't give it 0 stars. New ownership? The only thing growing is weeds. They blame it on water pumps. I've worked in golf course agronomy for many years and while pumps are not cheap they are affordable provided they have a budget?? Evidently not?? Sad to see another public course go to seed. Literally.
Sahara desert
I’ve never played a course more dry, hitting of the fairway was like trying to hit out of a bunker.
Unfortunate course
I had played here before but there was some damaged irrigation equipment and the course is in rough shape. It’s borderline unplayable which is unfortunate as I played here before and it was decent and fun course with valve at its cost.
Best in SW Florida!
For a public course , the grounds crew needs a big shoutout for their exceptional care of these bunkers! Not the white fluffy sand of Pebble Beach, but the Brown Florida sand thatSouth Florida is known for.If you love sand as much as I do you are going to just love this course because it’s everywhere! No need to replace those troublesome fairway divots here, you will have a hard time making one with this Genius way the top notch greens crew and new management maintains this facility. ….
Vin G
The course was in unsatisfactory condition. I would consider it unplayable. The grass on the tees, fairways and greens were brown and in need of many days of water.. One positive is the employees were all very nice..
better not book !!!
The course was known before as majetstic golf course in lehigh acres. We played that some times before in the recent years. But now with a new name it is a full mess. dry fairways dry teeboxes, dry greens, dust all around not a place to play golf, even not to exercise . Just not worth a penny.
Waste of time
I’ve seen more green in the Mojave desert than I saw on this course, hitting off of dirt isn’t any fun. Hope they get the place fixed
Dog track
Sucked, entire course burned out. Tees, fairway and over half of every green. Staff said they lost a pump. I asked when “ past winter” wow and still not fixed. TeeOff should eliminate this course. Total rip off and I should be rescinded my money. I’ve played over 700 courses and this was by far the worst. Biggest joke a guy was cutting the tees which were mostly sand ???
Dog tract
👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
Do not play here tee boxes, fairways and greens burned out . Fairways and tees are basically sand.
Staff said course lost a pump-I asked when answe “over the winter”. Are u kidding me ???
Greens are puttable but burned out.
They should refund my money or pay me to play there. Offer a piece of AstroTurf to hit off of on fairway. Got ripped off, Golf now should remove course from website. Drove 50 miles to “play”
Only good thing was alligator on first green.
Don’t waste your money here
The price you pay for this course is NOT worth it. At half the price it would still be too expensive for this course. Tee boxes are similar to hitting out of a bunker, the fairways are extremely patchy and almost all completely sand, the greens are brown and patchy. New management bought course with the promise to make it better and it has only gotten more expensive and worse quality. Photos provided aren’t even the worse parts of the course
Stay away from this course.
Unless they completely renovate this place I will never play here again. I’m not one to typically complain but I left this course after 9 holes. This course is basically a sandpit between the tee boxes and green. They must never do any course maintenance here. It’s a shame because the layout of the course is challenging but it’s in terrible condition.
wildcats wouldn`t like it
it`s too dry - the front nine were extremely dry, dusty, sandy and the fairways, tee boxes and also the " greens" - we did`nt find appropriate for a golf course. we have played this course over the last 10 years - and it became worse every year. The back ni9ne are quite a little bit better, but nearly the same impressions. Price is low if it is fair for what yoiu get ... has been lower and better.
Nice Layout at Wildcat
Staff was very friendly but rhe course it self was really rough.
Hardly any grass on tee boxes and fairways. Mostly sand.
Would not play there again unless the course improves.
Would not recommend it
Don't waste your money
Course is trashed. Would rather skip a week and pay more money to play a course that actually has grassy fairways raked bunkers grassy tee boxes and good greens
Has potential
I'm sure well priced golf courses disappear when improvements are made....so, ...a decent green is all I need.
