Half the holes were “cart path only”; this information should have been listed along with the price!
Excellent conditions
The first time we played this course and we were very impressed with the conditions, particularly the greens which are larger than average. Would definitely play again a d highly recommend it. The golf carts are fairly new and have padded leather seats.
New favorite course
17 of the best greens I've seen in this area. One green on the front 9 had a couple of sparse spots but still a decent green. The fairways were very good, the staff was friendly, the practice green was true and the beer at the 19th was cold. If they had a driving range, the place would be perfect. It will definitely be in our rotation.
Don't waste your money
If you Google "Prototypical Florida Sr. Golf Living", this place will be high on the list.
The golf course was a joke. 6100 yards from the back tees ... most which, didn't have any grass on them.
The fairways didn't have much grass, either. The Greens at least had grass, but they putted more like Velcro.
This course was supposedly designed by an Architect Ron Garl, but he must have been having a bad day.
Avoid this course, unless you get a $10 "Hot Deal".
Great course
A very well organized golf community course! Greens were well taken care of and excellent care of fairways. Up to date carts and superior staff make this course well worth the visit!

On this cooler Florida day we thoroughly enjoyed our round of golf. Layout, pace, comfy/smart carts...what's not to enjoy!
Amazing greens
This course had the best greens that I’ve played in a while, soft to land on and hold and they rolled true. The carts we amazing they had gps satellite radio and comfortable seats. The course had some tight holes and some very generous landing areas.. The tee blocks could use some work and same for the fairways but other that that I would go back.
Nice Course
The course is in real good shape. The fairways are good and greens are fast and roll true than I can putt. Play it you will enjoy.
Too wet for me, no drainage whatsoever.
Very busy course with a lot of play from residents that live there. Play is VERY slow, people that we’re ahead of us had no clue how to play golf. The course was very wet, did not rain much prior to our scheduled tee time. A par 4 hole was changed to a par 3 due to standing water. Groups were piling up behind us due to slow play. We saw a ranger, he said nothing. Not worth the money, many holes we’re short , hardly 300 yards.,o just over that. I remember now as to why I have not been back there in 5 years.
PRICED HIGH, SLOW PLAY, VERY WET.
Don’t golf here
A one star does not do this place justice. While the course was ok for what should probably be considered an executive course, the people were absolutely horrible. From the staff to the members everyone was horribly rude.
We were made to go off the back instead of the front. No big deal. We were constantly interrupted by people setting up for a tournament. Ok. We were being checked on by the ranger on multiple occasions. Not cool. The tournament folks / members started showing up during our round. Really? When I asked them to either play through or hang back a 90 year old women jumped out of her cart and started yelling this is our course. I can't believe this is happening. I attempted to explain to John the cashier since the manager doesn't work weekends, he told me I should never have gotten that tee time and that it's their course. OMG
Well you can keep it.

This was our 1st time at Timber Greens and WOW was it a perfect round! The course was gorgeous, car comfy and 'smart', staff friendly as could be and 19th hole a fun way to wrap up the round. We will definitely be back soon!
A perfect round of golf
The course is in excellent condition and a delight to play. It is fair but challenging. The greens are the best I have played in Florida. One thing that would make this course the very best would be to have a driving range for warm-up prior to play. Other than that, I plan to play again at Timber Greens.
very nice
a fun well kept short course -- we will go back sometime
