Championship at Seven Springs Country Club

New years day 2026 I drove 30 min to come golf with my 15 yr old son we got out and had a great round until Lenny the starter spotted a father and son having a good time on hole 10 he asked what time we came out we told him then we proceeded to play then after we finished the hole he pulled up and told us we couldn't continue on since my son didn't have a collared shirt on which was not told to us in the pro shop or at the starter on hole one or when a ranger drove by and said hello on hole 9. If they would of told me I would of bought him one. Lenny proceeded to tell us we could no longer golf. Now I understand the purpose of the shirt but if we are 11 holes in on new years day a father and son ruined the great round we were having he then proceeded to tell us we could get a rain check which we are from Chicago not florida for 9 holes or golf the little course which is not what we paid for Lenny then said he had to escort us like we were criminals of some sort

Horrible horrible thing to do to a father son already on hole 11 would it of hurt anybody if we just finished? Come on I hope management reads these and understands you can't act like that after the fact it was 50degrees when we started and the parking lot was empty. I never write a bad review but this was disgusting behavior for a father son having a blast glad Big bad Lenny had to validate himself on new years day to try to ruin a father son outing, and the best part half the course when it got warmer many had tshirts on today but we got signaled out by a lonely retired miserable man.

This is the second time I have played this course. Greens and fairways are in excellent condition!! Definitely recommend this course

Course played well a lot sand on the greens made them very fast

Greens are extremely bumpy. Fairways are okay, paying 35$ for a 330 tee time with these greens isn’t worth it.

Good course tough. Just punched greens but not bad. When the greens grow in going to be even more tough. Will definitely play again.

The layout was good, and the employees were great. But I was really disappointed in the shape of course. The fairways are awful. The greens were just aerated, and some were better than others, but none were great. Tough little layout tho, made it fun. I would not play this course if you are expecting/desiring top tier conditions. But if you don’t care about that as much, I would play here.

The course was in good condition. The greens we recently aerated, very bumpy. Very slow group ahead, marshals didn't push them.

Had good round with 3 other friends. Had not playe here in while. Course was in good shape and the greens putted nicely. Will definitely play again.

The course was in great shape. Enjoyed the day till we got rained out on hole 15. Big gators walking on course. Fairways perfect, greens fast.

Would have been 5 star but greens were punched recently. Even so, course played great.

Reserved a 9;15 tee time and arrived a little bit early. Starter paired me with a nice couple and we teed off at 9AM. We were finished by 12;30PM so very pleased at pace. There were a group of 4 ladies in front of us and they were play9ing off the tees. They moved at a fast pace and we were never waiting for more than a couple of minutes. Fairways were in good shape and greens were in good shape except they were slowere than they should be. Most of the holes are average in difficulty but there are 3 or 4 that challenge due to water hazards and overgrown trees near the tee boxs. Even playing at t 9AM we have about 75 minutes of weather in the low 80's. From 10;30-12;30 it was oppressively hot. Both myself and the partner were wilting under the sun and from the 13th-18th each of us lost some focus. The guy I got paired up with had played college golf and on front 9 he had 5 consecutive holes of of par, birdie, par, par and birdie. On the back nine he was mostly bogies, double bogies and a triple bogie. The heat was a factor.

have played there many times in the past. the course was in great shape. plenty of grass on the fairways. the greens were running true.
