Fox Hollow Golf Club

The greens were slow and the sand traps were horrible-more like waste areas-fairways were good, rough was tough to find the ball in! Lots of water!!

This used to be a premium track in the area. An equipment shed fire a couple.yeara ago seemed to lead to the course slowly falling into disrepair. I am happy to report that things are on the way back up. Was happy to see many freshly resodded tee boxes and numerous green surrounds that have been repaired and resodded. There was a visible presence of maintenance staff working on things throughout the course. It's always been a great layout and really tough course. Would like to see some.work.done on the bunkers next and that will have it back to where it needs to be.

I play monthly with my dad, who’s in his 70s. During our September round, we were paired with another twosome for a morning tee time. On the 7th hole (a par 4), a ranger approached us because the group behind had complained about our pace of play. At the time, we were on the tee box while the group ahead of us was still on the green—clearly, we weren’t holding anyone up.

The group behind us appeared to be part of the course’s men’s club. They looked to be in their 50s but were playing from the red tees. It felt like this was a common setup at the course, and I was disappointed that the staff prioritized their pace over a properly spaced foursome.

Despite the interruption, we finished the front nine in under two hours and completed 18 holes in exactly four hours—well within normal pace standards. Given the experience, I won’t be returning to this course.

FoxHollow is definitely not the same golf course it used to be greens were fuzzy. Fairways were not well maintained. There’s a lot of weeds growing up around the golf course bunkers are nonexistent no maintenance done to them at all. Won’t play again. Definitely won’t play for $80

The pace was great. Almost felt like we had the course to ourselves. Bring some long hitting clubs with you. Even some Par 4’s are long.

The sand traps do need some care to bring them back into what looked like good condition.

Some Tee’s and other areas were under maintenance.

Had a great time and price was good with the GolfNow 25% off made it affordable.

Challenging course with plenty of water on the back 9, but still a fun round. A few tees were under renovation, so they were moved up. Fairways were in decent shape, though the bunkers could use some attention. Greens were a mix—some rolled nicely while others had dry patches. Pace of play was excellent with no waiting.

Despite the very wet grounds due to recent heavy rains, this golf course lives up to the great reputation of Robert Trent Jones’s talent. It is an exceptional layout. It was unfortunate that we caught the ongoing re-sodding of the tee boxes of all the par 3 holes so we did not get the true test. The longest par 3 we played was 103 yards. I was disappointed in the greens, slow speed and numerous bare spots. This is an outstanding test of golf and would get 5 stars from me if the greens were even average.

Fox always very nice. Played late morning so pace was great as hotter than .. The course is maintaining the Par 3 tee boxes, so on the front, both are ~75 yds at present. The back side par 3's are about standard. Greens running slow for Fox, but enjoyable round and still quite good.

This lovely course has gone in the wrong direction condition wise . There greens on the front were not mowed & tees were not either . Weeds & grass were in bunkers . What a shame because course used to be great . Not worth the $$ until conditions improve !

This course has gone way down hill. There is weeds in the bunkers and fairways are spotty. They are replacing some tee boxes and round some greens so maybe next year.

I am newer to playing golf seriously, and found this course very fun, but it does have a lot of hazards so it was a bit too challenging for me at this point in my game. I shot a 119, and my goal is to break 100 right now, so I would say it was a good day overall! The quality of the course is always in top condition and I enjoy using their practice range several times a week.

Once again we arrived as it was still dark but when the first bit of daylight hit we were first on tee. Course was bit wet in place so no roll in the fairways but only one hole was cart path only. As always excellent staff and workers make it a pleasure to make the drive from Riverview to Trinity to enjoy The Fox. Will be back next week. See You Then!!!!!!
