Fox Hollow Golf Club

The course was very dry due to the current drought conditions in Florida. Fairways were hard and had many bad spots with dead grass again from drought conditions. The greens were on the slow side and also hurting from the dry conditions in Florida. I would only play there if I got a great deal on GolfNow, but would never pay full price to go there. I played there last year and the course was very good and worth the money. Maybe if they recover from these dry conditions it will improve.

I've played Fox Hollow many times in the past and it has always been in good to great condition, not this time. Not the case this time, hard pan fairways and weeded out rough. I'm upset by the conditions for what I paid, but had I paid for a morning round I would have been livid.

The staff there was among the friendliest I’ve ever seen. The course was in great condition.

This is a nice track I’ve played white and gold tees tees good challenge from both ( for 8- 15 handicaps)

Greens were punched so bit firm but ran nice and true .. some decks were so so fairway very good

Staff in rest and clubhouse excellent. One of the nicer layouts in area and overall 4-4.5 conditions

Love the course and I’ve played it 100 times. I booked as always through golf now. It was 100 bucks a player. When we arrived at the course we were told that we would be playing two times the front nine. Fox Hollow should have this announced on golf now. And perhaps at a cheaper rate versus a premium rate for having to play the front 9 twice. We enjoyed it but was disappointed. Another complaint is you have to prepay on golf now for this course at Fox Hollow. Other courses you book on golf now and you can either prepay or pay at the course. This should be an option on how to pay. God forbid a player doesn’t show up due to something and then try to get credited back.

Great course...friendly staff...not very busy so we didnt feel rushed. Picturesque holes! Saw some cool wildlife...birds and a big Ole gator...we had a great time.

Group in front of us was probably the slowest group of golfers i’ve ever played behind. After 12 holes we called it and left. Took 5 hours for 12 holes. Unreal

The course was in excellent condition and except for the extreme windy cinditions, I enjoyed playing it.

The golf course is not even close to the price it costs to play it

The greens were very poor. Seemed like they weren’t rolled in a week. The ball bounced like a ground ball on a baseball field. Fairways were fair. Tee boxes chewed up.

Course layout very good. Very challenging but not worth the fee for the condition.

Greens on the front not as nice as on the back. Can't comment on pace of play as we were second group out. Back 9 harder than front . Interesting holes with challenges . Highly recommend

My husband and I played on a Wednesday mid morning with another twosome paired with us. The course started us on the back nine first which I found to be very challenging. When I reached the front nine my score was much better. There is a lot of water on the course and many sand traps in locations not clearly seen. The weather was perfect and our companions were easy going. The course and facility are the best of the area public couses.
